once again you seem to strive to demonstrate your level of intelligence. I seem to recall Fisher was with BTC for quite a stretch and just left them in the past year. And now he goes back to his coach from way back when. How that implies he must have been coached by someone not with BTC while he was there is beyond my limited intelligence.

It doesn't imply that. He told us who coached him in college. He told us who coached him as a Pro. Wiley did the same. Yet, a few people continue to call her a liar. I hope they are correct because that places her in a favorable position going forward if she got to this level being coached by Lauren.

imho one story is more believable than the other, and the questions remain if she was being coached by Lauren why did she lie about it and 2 if she was not being coached by Lauren why switch back after the great performances she had last year while supposedly being coached by someone else.

More odd that Fisher returned to his HS coach after being away for so long and breaking American records. His HS coach has no high level experience. Wiley hasn't broken American records, she is only 1.5 years away from being coached by her, and she has remained friends with her. And her coach is/was a high level runner.

Some posters seem to be on a missin to prove that Lauren was helping with her coaching the past 2 years. I assume that it was much like a college runner whose father was their high school coach. They don't actually coach them while in college but of course they have a lot of contact.

Lauren Johnson didn't just coach Wiley in high school. Lauren Johnson was also Wiley's college coach. Lauren Johnson was the reason that Wiley ditched Colorado for Huntington University. Try to keep up.

That is true. Nobody disagrees with those facts. But people are lying by stating that Lauren coached her over the past year. You claimed that Lauren coached her last summer because her college coach couldn't yet there are other college runners who have been competing in the Olympics and World Championships forever. Sorry, you must be new to the sport.

Lauren Johnson coached Wiley to a national high school record and a 5th place finish in the World u20 championships. Wiley then decommitted from Colorado a few days before the xc season was starting specifically so she could be coached by Lauren Johnson. Then Lauren Johnson gets let go by Huntington and Wiley even went on TV to tell everyone how upset she was and how unfairly Lauren Johnson was being treated.
