This board has always grossly failed regarding doping in US distance running. It was Houlihan's cheering section. But the added wrinkle here is that this board allowed itself to be manipulated in a sustained whitewash campaign for this "athlete". At some point there is complicity. I don't care if my posts get autodeleted or disliked. At the end of the day this is a matter of cheating and athletic fraud.
The problem is americans are probably the worst dopers in the sport,from high school up,but their system is so sophisticated,widespread and systematic they can get away with it.And of course,when youve got mass produced doped up americans,jamaicans,russians,and east and north africans , all other nations(who are able to) are forced to "catch up",or be left behind.
Look what we are being asked to believe here. That an athlete directly involved in the HU scandal who never showed any especially ability until that out of the blue, Lauren Johnson paced 1600m her senior year (she was before then a good high school runner, no more or less) is suddenly able to run record breaking times faster than virtually every other college runner in history as a 19 year old freshman based on "natural talent." It is utterly ridiculous. Especially when we know that chemistry can easily produce these results. Now you add the circumstances, having little tolose, the clear willingness to compromise reputation to "run fast" and we have the current clown show.
What always gets me about these Wiley threads are that when someone asks legitamate and non threatening questions, they are often ignored. When someone posts libelous words, they are met with very defensive retorts, perhaps rightfully so.
Twice in this thread I have asked "Daily update" the questions below. I am asking the poster known as "Daily update" because he or she seems to be very close to the Wiley situation - perhaps a coach, teammate, family member, close friend, or someone like that.
These are the questions that I have asked. There is nothing threatening here. Just straightforward stuff:
So is she not running this fall for Huntington?
How do you know she is being tested? I'm not saying she is or isn't getting tested. Just curious how you know her testing status.
Is she taking classes remotely this fall?
Who is her current coach?
I asked about the testing status because, based on other posts, "Daily update" seems to be privy to that information and someone with insider knowledge.
Instead of answering my simple questions, my posts are downvoted and ignored. Here is an opportunity for someone that seems to be close to Wiley to do some goodwill toward her name and brushes it aside. I have asked innocuous questions about Wiley in the past as well. Never are my questions addressed.

It also wasn’t a 5 second drop… I’ve ran 2:02 and 2:01. Good reminder to not believe everything you see online. Also I’m a clean athlete with 8 clean drug tests to back it up

But clearly not so much of an advantage as for those currently taking steroids, because you see those caught doing steroids fall from their glittering performances. Ben Johnson was an excellent example. He was a mediocre sprinter without the roids, regardless of the fact that the steroids still left him with a greater ability to build muscle.

”It blows my mind that people have not pieced parts of this puzzle together yet. Better screenshot this while you’re reading it because there will be a lot of people who want this down when they are exposed and they are on here quit frequently posting anonymously. You are talking about a small town that is insanely corrupt and yet everyone acts as if this is the one police department in the country that is completely ethical and 100% trustworthy. Just look at the judge in this case, she is literally married to the sheriff. That’s a conflict of interest that should never exist. Then you have the prosecutor who successfully defended Stoffel’s dad against allegations she made against him, but now he’s taking the stance that Stoffel is telling the truth!? There is absolutely no way he should have taken this case. Not to mention this is the same prosecutor who gave the plea deal in the last case and then proceeded to victim blame a minor for not being able to convict this guy but at the same time supposedly having a confession from the defendant himself… this makes no sense (not to mention the sexual stuff was dropped BEFORE the plea deal was even offered). Let’s look at the police report’s, all are written in “summary format”, NOT in transcriptional format, meaning the detective took some liberties in how he wrote the reports. This detective has not been quiet in sharing that his wife had an affair with a religious leader at their church shortly before he began investigating Nick (That makes a detective pretty bitter when they can’t even solve something going on in their own house). Now let’s look at the original source of this latest report. Here you have Addy’s former high school coach, Matt Ditzler, who resigned after inappropriate texts with him and former athlete’s were discovered. It was well known on the team that addy immediately refused to keep working with him once these texts were discovered and she found out that he had been psychologically manipulating her for months in a attempt to help the case against nick (who happened to be an old college rival of Matt’s). Another name who is ever so eager to speak on this topic and is obsessed with these boards, Craig Jordan. It would take too long to go over his criminal record, so I’ll just focus on the fact he was fired twice while being the coach of the other girl mentioned in this civil suit. And Emma was not shy in stating that this was because of allegations that they were having sex. Craig hired a lawyer who cried racism, that lawyer… happens to be none other than the main lawyer in this civil case (John Little). Want more FACTS, the reporter who helped John Little defend Craig from these allegations was none other than DAVID WOODS, but that’s not all folks! Woods was confronted by parents, and police had to get involved at a HU cross country meet after Woods stalked and harassed Wiley. That same David Woods suspiciously leaves the Indy Star two days later after the biggest/most profitable story of his career for a non-existent independent journalist career!? This whole mess is so much more complicated and involved than anyone could even fathom. Did nick make mistakes? Definitely! But the true crime here is how people exploited this situation for career enhancements, money, and to distract from the skeletons in their own closets. Nothing is more shocking to me than people blindly trusting these accusations and documents as if they are 100% factual and honest. Its wild addy hasn’t filed a lawsuit against letsrun yet. Hopefully that’s either in the works, or will happen in the near future. People in Huntington are aware of the carnage that has resulted from this so far. It would blow peoples minds to know how many people have lost their jobs or have been forced to resign due to their part in this corruption directly or indirectly, and the list just keeps growing. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the Johnson’s are sitting on a massive pile of evidence (texts, pictures, emails, recordings, etc) then the question becomes… do we get to see all this evidence in the civil case (in the off chance it’s not dismissed) or do we see it in counter suits. At this point the only people who have things to lose are the plantifs in this civil case, people can’t think worse about the Johnson’s then the only people who have something to lose are the plaintiffs who aren’t telling the whole truth and they know what they’re hiding. Anyone think about that fact that Wiley could have NILs and they just aren’t contingent on her promoting the businesses on social media, there are many other ways to promote a business... and let’s be real, she only has like 6,000 followers. I’ve heard she drives a mid-level luxury suv so obviously she has some money. One more thought before I leave this mess of a message board… It’s worth noting that rojo said these topics should stay on the Huntington thread and that moderation would be Better. Might want to ask yourself why letsrun lets these threads continually run rampant with the same individuals literally repeating the same comments over and over and over. I've felt for a while that LJ is actually more of a ring leader in this whole debacle than any type of victim. The fact that she went on TV to discuss ANY of this makes it seem like she is too smart to listen to her own attorneys who would never, ever advise someone to go on TV to discuss a situation like this.

That statement implies that she ran her time in a Diamond League meet. I am making sure that you know that.
I am not stating that she can't run in a DL meet because based on her time, she can.
