I can't believe willvlc is this stubborn and insane that he is flying out to America after virtually everyone in this thread has told him he is wrong about heartrate and that the data does indeed verify Goodge is running. We better get some strait jackets ready at the airport.

anyway, made me laugh that a lad who was crewing for the first fortnight posted a heartfelt message on the facebook group telling us how authentic and wonderful it all is while taking great pains to tell us he's a cop - because apparently cops never lie or something? oh, and he's apparently will goodge's cousin. and he knows nothing about running, and isn't willing to answer questions about why the days seem to sometimes start up the road from the previous day.

(for the record, i think he's probably being sincere and saw nothing untoward, i'm somewhat persuaded by his post even if he is a cop.)

The brojos need to change the title of this thread immediately. Why? Because there's nothing interesting about it and it doesn't even come close to depicting the story that is unfolding. This is an incredible thread and I almost missed it because of the nondescript title.

There is no doubt in my mind that it would gain more traction if the title is modified to reflect what is unfolding (see the Robert Young thread title for example). I think I will email the brojos about this.

The accurate title for this thread should be "Willvlc Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest To America".

This is not a Rob Young thread, not even close, when all the data shows Coodge is legitimately running.

Willvlc just posted on the Facebook group that's he is already in America and observed Goodge for a day. He thought he caught Goodge today but then realized he got nothing. He is now admitting Goodge is clean and will formally admit he is wrong by publishing a paper if the next few days are the same as today.

Did I and most everyone in this thread not tell him he was wrong multiple times? He could have saved the trip to America if he just listened.

So what? It is his money. I respect the guy for taking personal action to investigate what he believed was true. There is nothing wrong with that. If anything, Will and crew need to place blame on all the other scammers that have cheated before him. We have rightful reason to be highly skeptical of these hollywood type, fund raising athletic athletic feet ego trips that are disguised as being for the good of someone else. Let' be honest, we do these things for ourselves. The other cues (charity, for Mom etc.) we may use are just side motivators to keep going.

In hindsight, if this run is legit the crew can look back at the social media criticism as a feather in their cap. They had vehement critics that were forced to come around to their thinking with visible proof.

I watched his latest youtube video and it was good. The drone shots, very professional done. I liked the peek into the nutrition and meals. I cringe a bit at the constant Brand placement of NuCalm and it still causes red flags. But will keep watching.

There is all sorts of wrong with that after virtually everyone in this thread told Willvlc he is ignorant about heart rate numbers from watches, including me who actually analyzed all of Goodge's data from the transcon and know what to look for because I've done this many times before. You should listen to your elders, ie: me
