What I'm saying is that an average black person has a lower IQ than an average white person, who has a lower IQ (by about 6, compared to 15 for B-W, points) than the average Asian person.

IQ is by far the best measure of cognitive ability that we have, and has been thoroughly validated and predictive.

Environment plays a role, but so do genetics. The science says cognitive ability is mostly genetic but environment also plays a role - we are definitely not blank slates. It's kind of a moot point, though, because the stats are what they are despite the causes. If you have a way of increasing the average IQ of black people as a whole, such that it isn't just barely teetering on the range of intellectual disability, I'm sure the world would love to hear it.

According to the Concord Sped Parent Advisory Committee, 85-99 is "lower-average-normal", and 71-84 is "boarderline [sp] intellectual functioning". This is the main factor for violence and performing so poorly in schools - someone had a link here (from an author called la griffe du lion) that the average IQ of inner city black Baltimore students is 76 (for reference, the inner city Baltimore white IQ is 86) which is likely why Baltimore has such high violence - 73% of them have below a 85 IQ so they have poor impulse control and can't think for the future.

We shouldn't make it illegal to teach that America's system of locking up millions of people is not the norm. We shouldn't make it illegal to teach that certain groups are locked up disproportionately. That is America. Why should we not teach our children about America? Do you hate America so much that you won't even allow our teachers to teach about America? Are you that ashamed of it?

The country isn't going to get better if we make it illegal to even discuss its problems.

The reason why blacks perform poorly in school is because their average IQ is 85. Whites have an average IQ of 100, and Asians have an average IQ of 106. Not surprisingly, those groups perform (much) better in school and are (much) less violent.

Black people commit a disproportionate amount of crime because the leading indicator of criminality is being raised in a broken home and black people have a wildly disproportionate amount of broken homes.
