How about checking the progression of Fisher or Monson or Shweizer? Valby looks pretty similar to most elite Americans. My daughter ran 7 minutes in 8th grade and 4:55 as a senior in high school.
lol which of them are doing as little running as Valby?
Armstrong gave interview after interview about all his negative tests. And that was the industrial strength doping where the French were hellbent on getting him. The dopers are always ahead of the testers. Heck they only founf TGH and blew up the Balco ring because an anonymous whistblower sent the USTAF a sample. Houlihan likely only got caught because of another whistle-blower. Otherwise she would still be dominating US running today.
Cross training isn't optimal. Come on. You know that. But Valby is more talented than the competition. She is a future 14:20 performer as she slowly increases her training.
what I don't follow is of she is so talented, why were her initial hs times so much slower than those of, for example, Tuohy (even in 7-8th grade)?
Because Valby has had a natural progression of development for an extremely talented runner, and because Tuohy's results have always been highly unusual.
It's quite telling that all of the attacks on Valby are coming from the NC State team, and from the NC State team's supporters.
"Natural progression." This is the recycled late bloomer myth that is trodded out when one of the first year pro runners suddenly takes a minute off their college pr, that they have the magic late bloomer running gene that suddenly activates based on pro training fairie dust. Quite telling that we see it again.

Dude, go f.uck yourself. You should get a punch in the face from each clean athlete you have called a doper.
I ran in the big ten. Our coach always said it’s very common for athletes to have huge improvements their junior or senior year.
takes people a long time to get adjusted to college training and the workload. It’s a lot more running than high school and the cumulative effect just takes a while. The key is for athletes to not get discouraged their freshman and sophomore year, and almost always they will improve dramatically. I’m taking a big ten coaches opinion over yours any day of the week.

Here is the dealio. This particular KT fan keeps saying only a doped athlete can beat little KT. Why is that? Why does it require only a doped athlete to do so, eh?
And now that the spotlight heat is getting reflected back onto the NCState girls team, all of a sudden they are recoiling hard, even calling some of their fans ‘creepy’. They don’t want the suspicions.
Coaches and commentators do not believe Valby's progression is natural. Solinsky is her Coach, it was enough to explain why she progressed despite injuries.
Where are the other runners improving in Solinsky system? Or does he only work with Valby?
Proven fact, they don't dope everyone. Huntington University didn't dope all their runners, just the best one they got.
Based on your logic, that performance equals doping, all of the NC State runners are doping.
Therefore, if any other runner in the NCAA is doping, then all of the NC State runners are doping. Okay, then I'll just consider them all to be dopers from now on.
However, even with their doping I will love to see them get beaten, both individually and by several other teams. Anyone who's doping and has such bad attitudes like they do, deserves to be beaten.
