Giving Hamas the benefit of the doubt while you quibble over the number of Israeli infants executed in their own own homes is disgusting.
I encourage you to watch some of the video that Hamas made on 10/7. Pay particular attention to the "innocent Palestinians" behavior. When Hamas returns to Gaza with a naked Israeli they've raped and beaten to death on display the crowds cheer and abuse the corpse. Women and children right there participating.
There is ZERO moral equivalency between Israel and the palestinians.
It's not about moral equivalency, it's about accepting responsibility for wrong-doing. I don't expect that from terrorists, but as a democracy that is supposed to respect and observe international law Israel isn't holding itself to a good standard.
To play devil's advocate, why does Israel have to play by the rules to the T when Hamas clearly doesn't? Hamas goes out of their way to kill civilians and strategically uses their own civilians as human shields to protect themselves yet Israel tries to minimize civilian casualties and has provided aid to Gaza in the past (for which they are not even grateful for). Why are you focusing on Israel when Hamas are the ones who created this situation? The "well they're terrorists they don't know better" argument has no logic to it at all.

His argument isn't logical it's emotional.
All life is precious so any one who takes life for any reason is morally equivalent.
Ted Bundy and his executioner are morally equal in the eyes of Trollminator.

You guys keep making my point - many who support Israel's large-scale and destructive response use Hamas' brutality as justification, and to be able to look the other way when it's thousands of blown up Palestinian children. They conveniently excuse Israel from a commitment to uphold international law. As a result, Israel will just keep losing credibility as a democracy and in the eyes of brainwashed Arabs become exactly what they were told. Not to mention the destruction they are causing will strengthen Hamas... Israel has been playing right into Hamas' hands and too many are cheering them on to continue.

And to your last question - I'm focusing on Israel because despite the brutality of Hamas' attack, it does not pose an existential threat to Israel. What is certainly an existential threat to Israel is regional instability and increased antisemitism - which are worsening by the day with this disproportionately destructive military operation. If your next question is what should they do instead - feel free to scroll through the pages and see my responses.

*to clarify, by it I mean this attack. In isolation, these attacks are not a threat to Israel. Israel has the funds and expertise for top notch border security and intel. Hamas doesn't have a serious army or the weapons to come close to threatening Israel's existence. I 100% agree Hamas should be wiped out, which exactly why I don't support this type of reckless military response from Israel.

Astounding. @ 50% of the people killed by Hamas were military. In fact, many of the Israeli civilians killed on 10/7 were killed by Israel.
Meanwhile Israel has killed a few Hamas members and several thousand noncombatants.
Yet people are claiming Israel is held to a higher standard.

I don't see support for Palestine rising, you'll have to back up that claim with statistics. Polling data shows the opposite.

And when not pitted against each other, both Israelis and Palestinians garner overwhelming sympathy from Americans: The SSRS/CNN poll found that 96 percent of Americans have at least some sympathy for Israelis and 87 percent have at least some sympathy for Palestinians.)
Many of these pollsters have asked this question before, and they found that pro-Israeli sentiment had spiked amid the conflict. For example, according to Fox News, registered voters went from sympathizing with Israelis over Palestinians by 59 percent to 24 percent in May 2021 to sympathizing with them 68 percent to 18 percent this month. And according to Morning Consult, they went from sympathizing with Israelis over Palestinians 28 percent to 11 percent in May 2021 to 41 percent to 9 percent this month.

Two thirds of adults feel the Palestinian group Hamas bears a lot of the responsibility for the war whereas 35% say the same about the Israeli government. A third say the Iranian government shares a lot of the responsibility for the conflict and 12% say the United States has a lot of responsibility.
A majority of Republicans and Democrats blame Hamas for the current war. However, Democrats are more likely than Republicans to attribute a lot of blame to the Israeli government (43% vs. 25%).
Two-thirds place significant responsibility on Hamas for the current conflict. But 40% say Israel has gone too far in its response, and only 36% want the U.S. to provide aid to Israel’s military.

Hamas is killing Palestinians for not wanting to be human shields. They will murder them and then blame Israel and people like Trollminator will go to bat for them and attack Israel for the dead civilians.

Hamas shoots at their own civilians when they try to evacuate because they need them as human shields. Hamas and all of their ilk across the Muslim world are subhuman. That is not to say every Muslim is subhuman, but there are plenty of other Islamic groups with no respect for human lives: ISIS, the Taliban, the Houthis, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, etc. They aren't some miniscule minority in the Muslim world. They are the ones in power across vast swaths of the Middle East. Their worldview is incompatible with civilization.

Glimpse into a Zio Occupied mind.
So much hatred, racism, and disinformation.
Since you love Gaza so much, will you be taking a trip to help your fellow comrades? I think that would really stick it to the Zio's.
Oh no... the angriest people in the world are... angry.
The only upside to the idiotic push to get off fossil fuels as soon as possible is the impact it will have on the middle east.
Without the money coming in for the oil they would NEVER have developed any use for these angry Arabs would be of no more significance globally than the aborigines in Australia or the primitive tribes running around deep in the Amazon.
They have been steadily sliding downhill since Cyrus the Great died and fell off a cliff in the 7th century.
