If I recall correctly it was speculated in this thread that kip may have also cheated in a duathlon. His leg on the bike was like a 25-26mph average which many said he couldn't do. I don't know if he could or not because I dont understand biking but I understand he bikes a lot in his spare time. Interesting.
This makes no sense at all. Outside is not running a story on Kip. I believe that no one is writing it, at least not for a publication along the lines of those explicitly or implicitly referred to. There's simply not enough to go on. People in the know have posted time and again that Kip hasn't sat down for interviews and the various race directors and sleuths have confirmed that they have not been interviewed by any reputable writer preparing an article on Kip's exploits.

I would like to pile up enough evidence and enough DQ's that Kip comes out and explains exactly how and why. Then in the future RD's can use the 'how' to make their races cheat-proof. And, yes, also I'd like to move up one position in a few races.

The 'many' might've been just me. I know the guys he finished 'ahead' of and he is NOT capable of beating them. One of the 2 is a friend, one of MI's best in his age group ... and was probably left wondering how he got Kipped. Furthermore, Kip's incapable of that 25+ mph bike split. The others were slower, all of the others in even the younger age groups.

I'm not sure if kip was ever capable of 6:11/mile for a 5K, but he did supposedly race that pace (6:11s) from mile 13.1 (halfway point) to mile 20 at the Charlotte ThunderRoad Marathon. Of course, Witnesses say he cut the course.
I think if we can look further into the KL, we can gain some additional insight and the smoking gun, as GK points out
Many of the early KL detectives, including ScottH and Ouch1000, knew he had cheated but Admitted they were too lazy at the time to look into the how. It wasn't until we looked at reverse IP addresses, race photos, outfits, etc more carefully that things became more clear. There are still questions to be answered and stones left unturned.
Did he take a bike to the Boston marathon in 2010? How did he change headwear?
