Disgusting coverage from NBC Chicago. Imagine if they covered the mlb playoffs with all of this extraneous nonsense? Never mind that a woman is on pace to break the world record

Two days of listening to Josh Cox is about to make me go to my garage and start the car.
Lol, funniest thing all day.
NOPed.
Galen won't make Tokyo.
...and as far as coverage. Don't any of you in the US have cable and the Olympic Channel? It was $10 more per month for me to get the upgrade which included NBCSN, Olympic Channel and a gazzilion others.
So I just got to the office about 10 minutes ago. I haven't seen a single mention - not one word that Brigid Kosgei - is on world record pace or even in the race. I've seen the lead men's pack, a women's wheelchair interview, commercials, more men's pack info and now more commercials.
Lots of talk about the 2:11 men. What a joke.
Has the whole broadcast on the Olympic channel been this bad? Is there anyway to watch the local stream?
This is the worst coverage, what a joke. All we hear about is the wheel chair race, no mention of Rupp or Hasay, no video of them stopping. Also, curious as to what everyone who has been screaming about NOP/doping has to say about this.
Hope his achilles didn't unravel.

Rupp has dropped out of the race just before 23 miles. Currently being tended to by medics.
Cherono has shown he can kick, this is going well for him. Someone needs to make a move if they want to win.
Get the excuse machine up a running for Rupp and Hasay. Will be some bleeding heart story about how we never should have expected them to perform well carrying the burden of losing their coach (as if he died or something).
EVERY MAJOR MARATHON I FEEL LIKE MORE OF A COMPLETE FOOL. How the bleep can this coverage get worse, year after year? And why can't they postpone the wheelchair winners' interviews until AFTER the top runners finish? So we can actually see them battling it out?

After all that Rupp and Hasay both DNF. Brutal.
After all of what? Hounding questions from Gault at the presser lol?
Debela with 5 minutes to go starting to go

Both have been injured, and I think it doesn't say anything specifically about them.

Anyone know if and what amount the bonus would be for breaking Paula's record?
Hearing Paula's complaints and excuses and seeing her cry will be bonus enough
The Lord would find a way to DQ Kosgei.
Local stream isn’t any better here in Chicago
Debela trying to sneak away at the drinks table!
Abdi up to 5th @45s
For those in the UK there is bbc coverage available online & on red button. Showing a lot of Kosgei now

Not sure if it will work out of UK?
Bashir is running fast - sub 2:07 pace and closing the gap!!!
