Indy Lyness and Tyler Edwards all improved much more. I'd also look at Tanner Olsen and Nick St. Peter. After his Fall Nick will be hard to beat on the track!

Lundin was out in 2019. Bit of a stretch to say he’s influenced recruiting beyond the current seniors. Even so, here’s a quick scoring of the meet sans ole upperclassmen (and their transfer as I’m not sure what his eligibility is):
Carlington 44
Ole Frosh and Soph 89
Mac 102
St School 103
Joonies 104
The Big Wind 170
Early 2024 Picks
1. Carleton - just need one more guy to emerge and everyone to say healthy
2. St. John's - Similar to Carleton. Losing Lloyd hurts, but their depth will help. A big recruit could be all the difference
3. St. Olaf - could see them in second too, but losing Kelly, Curtis, Cote, Lynn, Estrada is too much firepower.
4. Macalester - better but the MIAC is too top heavy.
5. Concordia/Gustavus - hearing good things about their recruiting and both have strong freshmen. Could be really fun to watch this play out.
I expect Saint Mary's to get better and move up.
Overall, it could be a much more competitive MIAC top to bottom next year.

more realistic
1. Olaf with maybe closer to 40-50 pts
2. Still Carleton
3. Johns sorry Scholastica, you're like 8-11th now
4. Macalester
5-10 whoever gets some recruits and loses less.
11 Hamline
Individual
1. Bati... if he doesn't transfer to D1
2. Calvin Boone? does he have eligibility? or who else still has eligibility to use and isn't graduated?
3. Probably some St. Olaf person.
Oles still haven't beat anyone ranked above them. Just sayin
Andrew Skemp uses sodium bicarb.
NotKevbot is like that dude that got dumped when he was 16, never got over it, and still talks crap about his ex 10 years later to anyone that will listen.
I heard Bati didn’t feel good. He was in hospital last night.
what does this mean
like pratically what does this mean

That poor guy. Probably shouldn’t have raced him. I sometimes wonder what that coach is doing. The number of times he ran 3K and 5K in the same day. Even at the last chance meet just didn’t make sense. Hopefully the transfer rumors are true and he can get a free degree and be pushed to his highest level of running.
Hope he has a speedy recovery. He’ll be ready to rip indoor.
Other than what was already expected from the higher up teams, most of the rest of the MIAC kinda sold. Bethel particularly delivered exactly zero of the hype they’ve been talking and once again showed their inability to show up in crunch time scenarios. Cobbers also did not deliver the same mid tier punch that they left at conference. Johnnies are officially rolled, regardless of what NotKevbot says Northfield fully owns this conference now. Gusties deserve some credit but again can’t be shaking too many sticks around a pile of logs. St Mary’s and the Hamdogs honestly need to get relegated, give a couple UMAC schools a chance. The battle of mid has been settled, and frankly, without obscene amounts of PEDs or a D1 deserving recruiting class, nobody after Scholastica will be relevant within the eligibility of any current runners.
The shade towards St Mary’s is understandable, but they have improved… Not by a a lot, but by some. There were some inconsistencies throughout the season from some of the guys’ times as we can see, but we may see some good things in the near future based off of some of the guys performances. Also, who’s this Smyth kid? Saw him race yesterday, delivered a solid performance as a freshman. Has been progressing quite well this season. In regards to Bati, hopefully he is well. Hate to see him like this, hoping for a strong comeback this indoor season.
I meant, like many have said, that I will not be impressed by the Oles until they beat a team ranked ahead of them. Then we will see how good they actually are. And as many have also said, I will withhold judgment on how good the team is when Power has to use his own recruits and not rely on Phil's prowess. Losing four big time seniors will be a big blow. I'm sure he didn't have to try hard to recruit the 18th Coffey to attend St. Olaf either.
As for the future, Cobbers and Johnnies had the top MIAC freshmen at the meet yesterday. Cobbers could be a team to keep an eye on with the twins as the frontrunners. I really like the upside for both teams. 26:17 for freshmen is blazing fast. I don't think the Oles will be able to match that with not a single freshman in their top 20. Did Carleton race a single freshman?
You’re complaining because the Oles are ranked accurately
I heard Power tell people that the Oles trained through MIAC's. That's pretty cocky, but I guess it worked for them. They were closer to Whitewater than I thought they would be. Interestingly, he told another coach that he recruited everyone on their roster and that Phil didn't have much of a hand in that. Sounds like he wants to take credit for everything the Oles have done. Meanwhile the guy can't even run a mile.
Surprised nobody has mentioned this, but quite a race by mongo dong at regionals. Nipping at Bati's heels and he's a pure speed guy. I have a friend up in St. Joe's who is in the same nutrition class as him, and apparently he only eats one rotisserie chicken every morning at 6:45am. Also he's being dealing with injuries, but due to religious reasons he can't cross train on bike or in the water. Goes for 15 mile walks to close out the night. Makes sense why Bati could barely hang with him.
We should all be ashamed of ourselves for not constantly hyping up the Carlton Women
All hail the fastest team in Minnesota
Congrats Carleton women. Donna Ricks will also be National Coach of the Year.
Congrats to the Scholastica guys. They ran smart races and closed like the winds of the North were chasing them.
Looks like Power's strategy failed the Oles again. He was clearly confused and thought the slowest first half of the race wins. They only underperformed by two spots, so we can't be too hard on the Harvard of western Northfield.
