Announcement on Insta that they welcomed people to go run with WG but could they DM first so that they could go over the "code of conduct for running with him" - ie tell us you're coming first.

i wonder whether will c is entertaining their "code of conduct" stuff. will he run with him? will he be in shape to keep up? are goodge and balenger going to keep their cool?

Plot Twist, they put the tracker on Will C and put him in the van in a sort of kidnap scenario and his elevated HR is then used to verify Goodge.

That’s a relief. Saves me shelling out $20 a month on snake oil.

My take is Will C becomes NuCalm convert and realises that a 40 min nap can bring your HR down and all recordings were accurate.

In all seriousness I've belittled Will C HR data analysis (and stand by it but we've agreed to disagree) but him going out there is impressive. Some of us were calling for further evidence to make his claims and Will C has called our bluff. Credit where credit is due.

How do you know Will C is going out there? Has he announced this somewhere? No matter the veracity of the the accusations I don't see why the Goodge team didn't just get rid of any doubt and put the tracker on him. Thinking of getting a NuCalm lifelong subscription for when it blows up - only $1500

Hilarious how most of letsrun posters are fanboys of an obvious fraudster. In the old days, no one would fall for this poser.

I thought the low HR @ same or faster paces in the second half of the run looked suspicious...until I scrutinized my 100mi trail data. My HR naturally runs a little high - 150s - at a very comfortable pace, resting is in the 40s. Seems typical. First 30mi of my hundo saw 150-170s at 10:00-12:00 pace. HR was all over the place in the middle. Then from about 60mi onwards, HR gradually declined while I was holding similar paces. So I did not see overall HR drift. I even had a few miles after mi 70 of <100 bpm at 9:00 pace (offset by hiking and crying a few miles at 20:00 pace...)
