Bootman from Dowling was 33rd at state last year but 60th this year. Will he end up closing the 4-5 gap at NXR? He did last year. He was only 4 seconds behind their 4th here

A big 4-5 gap is not an automatic death sentence of a team. Look at the 4-5 gap for Dowling here
Bad example. That was a 1 minute spread. They had 1:30 at state this year.
City High doesn't belong in the championship race.
If Truman Thompson places where he would normally be they were right there for 3rd place w Ankeny. He has a mediocre race they place likely still above Norwalk who is in the championship race. It's warranted.
Awesome. With Dowling/Heidesch (maybe Washburn?) and Hempstead/Noe, Iowa could factor in big ways for both teams and individuals, for both boys and girls.
I think Dorenkamp can qualify. She was sick at state.
There are teams in the championship race that are worse than Iowa City. Thompson just had an off day at state
So it is what a team should have done at their state meet. Not what they did. Got it.
They should probably just let Dowling play in the title game. They should have won tonight.
Look how many Heartland teams are in the top 25 right now for the boys in the Milesplit rankings
Wayzata - 14
Dowling - 15
Stevens Point - 20
Rosemount - 25. Would be closer to Wayzata if Schultz was with the Rosemount pack

It makes no sense that Washburn is 5th in the region instead of Lakeville North
Gabe Shaw (former dowling runner) ran in the open 2 race
He was #2 on his new team
Heard that Dowling’s 5th man ran with 1 shoe the whole time. Is that true? Can they get an at-large?
This race proved that a team needs 7, not 5
Congrats to Washburn, Heidesch and Noe for making NXN
seems like they did everything right. They found a 5th as well
