Except, the New Alt Left does not approve of common sense . Sad
It’s so funny how they freak out over people who’d rather not get the experiment. I mean it’s really unbelievable how it affects them. They can’t explain it. Whether or not we are injecting that nonsense into our veins has no bearing on what they do or how they live, yet they freak out. It’s really a crazy dynamic. The only possible explanation is jealousy, there really isn’t another option. I’d love to hear one of them actually explain their anger but they can’t. What a bunch of freaks.
Look it you can't articulate the opposite opinion of yours, then you really shouldn't have an opinion.
Anti-Vax arguments:
* this is an experimental vaccine and we don't know it's long term side affects
* I'm young and not likely to get extremely sick with covid
* all vaccines are bad and are the cause of all sorts of modern health issues
* covid is not real
* the vaccine is killing people
Of these, I think only the first two are valid concerns.
The Pro-Vax arguments:
* the vaccine has been given to billions of people. The side effects - which some people do experience - have been less than a covid infection.
* While you might not get extremely sick, you might spread to others who will
* the more the virus spreads, the more it mutates. Some of these mutations have been more dangerous or more transmissible than the original strain.
* There is no science that vaccines are dangerous. The side effects of most vaccines happen in the first month or two. We've already vaccinated billions.
It's not that people are jealous. They are angry that the virus is lasting so long and continuing to disrupt our life. Personally, I'm against a mandate, but I am tired of bro-science and the complete lack of rational discourse from both the left and the right.
I did not want to take the vaccine. I try to never take vaccines. Unless I really have to. In this case, I weighed the risks, and it was an easy choice. I've been vaccinated, been boosters. I do worry about the long-term effects of the vaccine. While I believe there is no solid science of other vaccines being bad, this is a new type and it does concern me. If this was not a global pandemic that has killed millions I would not have taken it.
If you have a different opinion, then I respect that, but I'd hope it's not just groupthink and sticking with your tribe that drives your choice. For all the talk about not being a sheeple, there are many spouting that who are, in fact, just that.
