Kip Litton is a family loving, patriotic, God fearing American. Comparing him to those "people" who drag him through the mud is an injustice to such a great man.
Dr Litton and many witnesses were interviewed extensively by three separate writers quite a while ago and they ALL found there to be no evidence of any wrongdoing! Dr Litton is what is RIGHT about Genesee county.

Disappointment #1 - race director at CHarlotte ThunderRoad marathon, should have DQ kip
Disappointment #2 - BAA's lack of common sense. This guy is a serial Marathon cheater. Failure to realize he cheated in prior BAA races as well e.g. Baa 5k 2010

Kip's nephew lives near LA. My buddy who knows him said he ran the LA Marathon with Kip last week & Kip ran a 2:5x there. If I can find out what name he used in the race I am going to let the LA RD know.

The thing is, where did Kip start his race in 2010 was he in the first corral second wave? How did he manage with all black on for the early miles?
I believe Legally the BAA has to apply the same standards to Kip that they do for everyone else. Kip technically does have a Boston Qualifier at Charlotte even though We all know it's bullshit - as at least 3 runners at Charlotte can testify Kip didn't run the full course.... but because the Charlotte RD didnt DQ him, i think the BAA basically has their hands tied here and has to let him have a bib and run.

They don't want to be sued.
...if what they are doing is letting him in and then taking extra measures to make sure he either runs legit or is caught. Coordinated stalkers. Unmarked photo spots. Mats in new locations. Unmarked marshals along the course. There's a myriad of ways they could try to catch cheaters.
I agree that they are avoiding litigation/liability for denying him entry by letting him run. I also think they respect their race a heck of a lot and if someone is cheating, they want him caught. Being so big and public however, they have to act based on facts and proof, not circumstances and suppositions.
