Winning whites with degrees was a huge surprise to the Flagpolian pollsters and MSM.
This is how he won the suburbs, which is the largest portion of the electorate. Everyone harps on his base being white/rural/poor/etc, but that entire segment of society only makes up like 15% of the vote. It's silly to focus on that at all. total waste of time. Suburbs are roughly 40% of the vote, and he won that battle.
And 8% of the black vote sounds bad, but it's actually better than any Republican has done in a long time.

Nope. He lost that group by 9% to your hated Hillary.
I believe exit polls suggested he did well with white college educated voters but those can be unreliable on election night and I believe Trump ended up losing said vote. Interesting distinction though : a lot of his non-college educated white supporters are actually fairly well off.
