I'm glad you recognize it is a failed Israeli strategy then to play into their game. Hamas is hiding behind civilians but Israel is pushing the launch button to kill them. It's murder all the same. It's not that hard to see or admit.
You haven't provided an alternative captain naive.
I've asked you to explain surgical airstrikes 3 times now and you continue to ignore the question because you've realized how stupid the concept is.
I won't repost it for you. You can scroll through the pages and find my comments if you are interested.
But since you are a genius, explain to us how Israel is going to defeat Hamas and how the murder of thousands of civilians will factor into that.
It's not a terror cell it's the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT OF GAZA.
There hasn’t been a parliamentary election in Palestine since 2006 (an election plagued by Israeli interference). Hamas is not in power at this point due to anything approaching democratic election.
There hasn't been an election in the West Bank because the PLO knows Hamas will win.
50% of the population wasn't even alive in 2006.
75% of the people are under 30.
None of these people even understand why they're miserable. They just know they've been raised to hate the Jews.

Ironically, TheIdiot is so angry at Hamas but won't recognize that his boy Bibi has been bolstering Hamas all along.

Israel was hated long before 10/7 and they will be hated by people like you no matter how they respond.
Israel will kill the Hamas leadership and every Hamas militant that's dumb enough to show their empty head to an Israeli soldier. Hopefully, Israel will assassinate the evil, corrupt Hamas leaders living in luxury abroad as well.
Israel will destroy all of the tunnels.
Israel will create a larger buffer zone between Gaza and its own citizens.
The next time what's left of Hamas or whatever terrorist organization replaces decides to massacre Israeli woman and children maybe the ordinary Gazans will remember this and put blame where it belongs so only the terrorists and people like you are supporting the terrorism.

It says a lot that you're more upset with Netanyahu over a conspiracy theory than you are with your gang raping, baby burning buddies in Hamas.

A former top United Nations official in New York joins us for an in-depth interview about why he has resigned after publicly accusing the U.N. of failing to ...
Hamas is doing all it can to ensure as many Palestinians as possible get killed as a result of it's attack on Israel because they know people will blame Israel and that their support will grow. And that's exactly what's happening.
And no matter how unpopular Hamas gets in Gaza and the West Bank they will always be infinitely more popular than Israel.
I'm glad you recognize it is a failed Israeli strategy then to play into their game. Hamas is hiding behind civilians but Israel is pushing the launch button to kill them. It's murder all the same. It's not that hard to see or admit.
Well, Adult is correct that Hamas hides behind civilians and intentionally stores weapons in, around, and underneath hospitals and schools. This was reported by the United Nations during the 2014 conflict, so it is not just coming from the IDF or from right wing media. Of course Hamas is bad. They are fundamentally not much different than ISIS, but there are no real good options. I guess Israel could simply agree to a cease-fire and ramp up security, but that would of course leave Hamas in charge indefinitely. Hamas is not going to hold elections and they are not going anywhere until the Islamic Republic of Iran collapses, which is unlikely to happen anytime soon even though a strong majority of Iranians hate the regime. This would leave Israel in the position of increased border security, checkpoints, occasional conflict in retaliation to Hamas attacks, and indefinite calls for BDS and accusations that Israel is an apartheid regime, while leaving generations of Gazans trapped with terrible living conditions and the constant threat of being attacked by misfired rockets from Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and Israel once or twice a year. Or Israel can attempt to dismantle Hamas while killing and injuring thousands of innocent civilians along the way.

So Hamas is not a government democratically elected by the current population of Gaza?

Hamas isn't stupid they are just evil. Saudi Arabia was about to normalize relations with Israel. If the violence stops the money stops and the leaders of Hamas from their palatial apartment and homes in Europe and Qatar would NEVER let the money stop. They commit a massacre knowing full well that Israel would respond and knowing full well that they could get some dead kids on camera to motivate the morons of the world to sympathize with Hamas.
Like clockwork Israel responded and the idiots in Saudi Arabia saw the PR campaign on TV and now the peace talks are on hold.
So Hamas is not a government democratically elected by the current population of Gaza?
They were elected democratically and a majority of the population supports them.
If you don't want thugs to hijack your government maybe don't vote for thugs in the first place.
The majority of Palestinians do not support Hamas.
On average, polls in 2022 and 2023 give Fatah 35 percent support and 34 percent for Hamas. Considering just this year’s polls generates a half point lead for Hamas.
They didn’t even receive the majority of votes in 2006.
Again, the current population of Palestine are NOT the ones that elected Hamas, so they didn’t vote for the thugs.
It’s frankly not the central issue, but debate has swirled around whether Gazans, and Palestinians more broadly, support Hamas. Some American officials have clearly concluded that “Hamas doe…

Good post.. it's important that you said *attempt* to dismantle. I have no doubt that Iran will not allow it to happen. Btw, fkn Qatar loves to harbor senior Hamas members and other terrorist aholes, while pretending to be pacifists and diplomats. But the US and others never say anything... unreal.
Israel's failed attempt to dismantle Hamas will be quite costly and will backfire. They know the international community will start to come down hard on them and Bibi is under tremendous internal pressure to take responsibility and get hostages back. They exchanged 1,000 prisoners for 1 soldier not long ago, so this is quite the turnaround. I can see it now - they will claim they had an effective plan in place but were politically forced to stop which is why they failed to take down Hamas. I 100% believe this level of aggression is Bibi trying to save his own a$$ but it's going to backfire badly as the violence really gets out of control, the enemies open more fronts, and the war crimes pile up. Btw, Biden won't be able to handle too much pressure either and will slap Israel back down to the reality of the situation.

You must really hate them to keep trying to dehumanize them like this. Putting the fact that a minority voted Hamas into power aside, the fact that the kids that are getting blown up didn't vote for Hamas completely destroys you argument.

Politicians have used their assumptions about Gazans to support their policies. But the people in Gaza experience these policies far differently, writes a scholar of Islamism.
Hamas uses terrorism and war to provoke the Israelis into responding which increases support for Hamas.
It's worked every time before so why not try it again. This time they screwed up and showed a little too much of their depravity and Israel isn't going to quit until Hamas is annihilated.
