- They'll get sued if they don't provide equal coverage .... their version of Title X.
oh well...
After literally DECADE after DECADE of bunk "coverage" ("feel good"; but no actual serious race coverage) ... is there no way that our massive running community can just get some good coverage?
Holy molly ... To think that BBC coverage and British commentators are bad in general, in track and Marathon broadcasting but this has got to be the worst ever marathon coverage in history : constant interruptions, loads of time on charity $hite, wheelchair galore and no relevant information whatsoever. Awful!
Rupp is hitting the wall hard
Time for STINSANITY
16:11 5k split for Rupp. Will he hold on for top american?
Wish Larry Rawson was announcing.
GALEN RUPP DNF!
Rupp has dropped out of the race just before 23 miles. Currently being tended to by medics.
Down to 4 Men. Mengstu, Debela, Karoki and Cherono. Kenya - 2. Ethiopia - 2. 10 minutes to go. Prize $$ breakdown?
Galen DNF!!! The beginning of the end for him....
Mo Farah is getting rocked. Worst race he's run in years
Glad they are showing an interview with the 2nd place woman wheelchair racer instead of the men at almost 40k - exactly what I wanted to see! Worst coverage I've ever seen by far.
Only two good things about this race is seeing Mo fade to a 2.09 and the upcoming Paula complaints about her record being smashed
After all that Rupp and Hasay both DNF. Brutal.

At least we get the "divas" at mile 8 shown regularly when they break from the regular course announcers. So that's one positive, ha ha! Chicago liberal media is apparently pro-wheelchair, pro confused sexual identity dancers, but anti African runners based on their coverage choices. Interesting...

Is Bashir Abdi going to run under 2:07 and better his own Belgian record ?
He is Somali, not Belgian.
And he is training with Farah, so he is doped for sure.
GALEN OFF THE SALADBAR SAUCE!!!
Two days of listening to Josh Cox is about to make me go to my garage and start the car.
There needs to be separate wheelchair only, running only, and mixed wheelchair and running streams. How many ppl tuned in this moning to actually see the wheelchair race, 100?

NBC setting a record for worse coverage ever, interviewing people on the roadside and focusing on the wheelchairs only to interrupt all of that excitement with brief views of the actual Marathon race.
