"Habitacion" in Spanish can be hotel room or apartment. In the south of Spain, "apart-hotels" are very popular. They're similar to extended stays in the US, but with a full kitchen.

My main qusetion is 'how do you have 22 athletes in 4 hotel rooms?' It says there were 22 athletes but they only searched 4 hotel rooms. Why wouldn't they search them all?

He was detained by Spanish police along with an unnamed trainer from Morocco as 22 athletes who were also guests at the Sabadell hotel, including Ethiopia’s Dibaba, were drug-tested. The raid came after four weeks of round-the-clock surveillance following a three-year investigation Sportsmail has been working on with the IAAF world governing body since last year.

It says raid followed 4 weeks of round the clock surveillance, so I'm guessing the authorities knew exactly what rooms were likely to contain drugs? Rooms maybe bugged?

Agreed. Farah could have doped, but the fact that most on here are making a somewhat tenuous link between Aden being busted and Farah getting EPO from him, highlights how obsessed posters are in their dislike of Farah.

It is bizarre that people aren't focusing on athletes who are actually part of Aden's stable, but rather concentrate on someone who has trained with Aden's group on a few occasions over the years. Which is hardly surprising in itself. Plenty of elites find themselves at high altitude training camps, where there will invariably be others there who they can train with.

If you look hard enough and want to find something, there are probably another dozen elite middle and distance stars who have found themselves training on the same track as Aden and his group, over the years.

I dont know much about Farah's statements. One thing that always bothered me was what he said after Jeilan beat him in 2011. He said he never heard of the guy. I found that to be incredible. He trained for years to run his best at Worlds. He then entered the race did not know his competition from the top 10k country of the past 20 years ? A guy with world junior titles and a 27:02 PR? It seemed like a gratuitous lie to cover a blown strategy. It is a small thing but I always found it strange.

Huge holes in your starement here, MM; but major kudos for expressing readable and organized thought.

First off, the ENTIRE NOP is in Utah right now, yet Farah is completely solo in Font Romeu. FR is conveniently less than 2 hours drive from Aden's summer camp. That doesn't strike you as just a little odd?

Next, Farah has been with Aden on "more than just one occasion". In fact, he has trained with his group AT LEAST once a year since 2010, coincidentally(?) the beginning of his meteoric rise out of also ran status. If you spent 8 weeks (12 weeks twice) of the year with someone for 6 years, and that person was doping his athletes, think you'd know about it? So, let's just say for your argument's sake that he isn't doping. Is it ok to be with a group that does, or at least is trained by a coach that is now unequivocally a known doping coach?

Lastly, regarding Aden athletes that "he actually worked with in the past", look no further than Driouch (currently ending a 2 year ban):
