Yet none of these appear to be illegal - at least not at the low levels that they are taking to avoid positive drug tests. Do we think that Salazar is the only one advising his athletes to take this substances? And if it's so effective, why are athletes still using EPO?
1) Testosterone creams are illegal. The program was saying it is possible to take them and not test positive not that it is legal to take them. Microdosing is illegal. There are no permissible limits for many banned drugs.

I'm curious on why people are so confident these accusations are true because they are coming from the Gouchers and Steve Magness - as if they have no reason to be dishonest. The only physical proof we've been presented is a picture of a check with the memo "shipping expenses," a bottle supposedly given to Kara by Salazar labeled Cytomel, and a form filled out 13 years ago.
2) Nike needs to investigate. Sure you could say Kara and Magness have soure grapes but there is John Stiner and let's not forget 3 different NOP athletes alleging doping violations by Alberto or the Nike lab. One guy said the lab told him to take testosterone. That is a doping violation.
The report says of the other two, "Two Oregon Project athletes say Salazar encouraged them to use a prescription medication they either didn't need or weren't prescribed. " If true, this would be a doping violation as well by Alberto. So that is more than just some receipt saying he shipped something to Alberto one time. I
So you have Kara alleging a doping violation or crime (being told to take a prescription she did not have), Stiner linking Alberto to androgel, Alberto admitting at the very least Galen was taking Testoboost in high school, Magness alleging shadiness/possible violations, and 3 more NOP members alleging doping violations.
Is Nike ok with this?
Aren't testosterone levels tested? That's how they caught Floyd Landis and Ryan Braun. And don't testosterone levels vary between people? That seems like more of a gray area in doping to me - although of course I have no idea of science behind on that and the levels they were taking.
I think we all know that Salazar has pushed to the limit of the rules, or possibly bent them. But is this really news? Weren't there reports in the 2012 Olympics that a majority of the US swimmers were on asthma medication (or something like that)? To me the biggest problem is that there is absolutely no link to EPO use by Salazar's athletes - again why would he draw the line between his cheating and the most effective method of cheating which is nearly impossible to detect? And why aren't there any athletes with at the time accusations? They seem to always be years after they left the group.
