Can we put both of the lawyers in this thread into one giant GC with the rowan team and coaches so they can explain why all the insults some of the athletes/apparently coaches and threats of lawsuits they have been hurling around are pointless.

So, I'm going to walk you through this slowly, because you're clearly quite stupid and would probably need me to chew your food for you, lest you choke on a Triscuit or something.
When Seth used peptides, admitted to it, and ordered/stored EPO, there was a lag time between when those events happened and when there would have been formal punishment for those events meted down from ISU. Seth chose to leave before that, thereby preserving the pedantic excuse of "I didn't get suspended, I left!" as an option. Now, that lag time doesn't mean those events didn't happen, it just means that it pushed the timeframe for when it will all catch out to our lying, cheating boy a little further down the road.
Seeing as those he is still competing, we are clearly still in that lag. That's OK. It happens. The wheels grind slowly. But it's coming for him, and for Rowan.
no. i've read versions of this complaint here and they are ludicrous and untrue. you can say what you want about coach dimit in the context of the clevenger situation, but i've been reading for years that he hoodwinked the ncaa into creating an easy region for his own benefit and that is not true.
the coaches association had already been trying for years to break into 9 regions from 8, but ncaa shot them down. then they started doing it in other sports, so the ncaa came back with a 10-region idea. the coaches passed it at the convention and the regions were drawn to keep the sizes reasonable. coach dimit was on a committee of coaches from all over the country that drew the boundaries. remember, at that time, three of the regions then had 60-70 schools and hardly anyone had a course that handle the field sizes. it was becoming a problem that so few schools were able to host regionals.
and for anyone who thinks dimit or rowan did anything with regional realignment to escape nyu...look at meet results back then. in the last year of the old atlantic region, nyu sucked. no one was worried about them. they hadn't been good in awhile and you would have WANTED them in your region. they got separated out because of numbers.
so what i'm saying...if you want to criticize rowan/dimit over clevinger, go for it. but keep the criticism fair, and not about things (supposed "gerrymandering") that are irrelevant to the situation and also very untrue.
Dear Best Cliff Avenger: How come when some one has an answer you can't dispute (like why defamation won't work), you just ignore the comment? Or if someone else brings up a valid point like explaining why they have not banned Seth for cheating yet, you just make a stupid reply without any facts to back it up?? Are you as dumb as your responses make you out to be, or are you an ostrich why just buries his head in the sand? I am genuinely curious.

I'd encourage everyone to write letters – yes, physical letters – to the members of the Rowan Board of Trustees. It's clear that AD Tucker isn't taking this seriously, so we need to go further up the chain. Here are some addresses I found. Everyone keep writing letters to the Rowan Board of Trustees. It's their duty to protect the reputation of Rowan University and reign in bad behavior by it's athletic director and coaching staff. Highlight the publicity nightmare this has become, irrelevance of drug testing for a drug with a 30 minute half life (that was allegedly taken in the summer and fall to boot), and that compliance with the NCAA rules rests on a technicality and is not a strong position for the university from a PR standpoint.
People like best cliff avenger are not sane. Arguing with them can be good fun, but they have no interest in, or are incapable of, intellectual honesty.
The Every Silva defense: “I left the university before they could discipline me therefore I'm innocent and have haters that don’t want me to succeed.”
Universities love to handle things in house because if it gets reported to proper authorities and documented then it hurts future enrollment.
Honestly that entire situation is one of those “idek anymore and wtf is going on,” because he said on social media at some point that his Portland coach helped him get to OKC. Which is the opposite of what happened at Iowa State for SC

As has been pointed out a few times, the goal isn’t to actually interact reasonably. The goal is to bury the pages of the thread that have contact information for Rowan’s AD, Board of Trustees, and so on.
We may soon lock this thread if it is just a few people posting back and forth to one another. Threads are not meant for 2 people to insult one another
