Devon, Huber, Maddie, Maxwell Larson, and Coach Bader all are still strong runners. Dave was a top decathlete not long ago. The only denominator who looks like he's never heard of running is Chunko.
Why is Chunko such a wimp about running in less than favorable conditions. He’s been trying to get BluGold moved to the morning because he needs things perfect for Oles. Unlike the other Northfield coaches he’s not worried about academics and missing class times.

Tell us you're from Carleton without telling us you're from Carleton.
It could be 88 in South Carolina at Nationals. Why is it always Coach Chunko involved in these controversies and not the more reasonable coaches. You never see Huber or Maddie attached to any of these issues. It's always Chunko.

Sources told me Chunko gets mean swamp ass so he wants to be out of there before it breaks 75.
I'm going to need you to quit distracting from the discussion of my coach rankings. Waiting for someone to challenge that Maxwell should be moved up or a Brendo for Larson trade.
Genuine advice from a former MIAC runner. Stop thinking about the MIAC like a high school girl thinks about different cliques in the lunch room. You think training and racing decisions are based on vendettas and rivalries among coaches. You think every training, racing, or schedule decision is internal politics and maneuvering, reacting to and pre-empting the actions of others. You seem to want the MIAC to be a source of intrigue and drama. It isn't. It is the pond in which you are swimming, and you should try to be a bigger fish.

Make this LR page about MIAC accomplishments, breakout races, impressive training blocks, dark horses, predictions, and reviews of races.
Saw a nice debut of 1:08 and win by several minutes for Skemp in a half in La Crosse last weekend. He appears to be training well. We should see a lot of MIAC alumni results st the TCM races. Let’s be sure to share them.
Why you think a coach not hosting the meet is involved in the process is behind me. Yes he was responsible for getting the MIAC 10K changed but we all know that was the right call. It passed unanimously. That makes me curious when they will run it this year since Olaf doesn’t have lights. Are we stuck at 6pm? Can we run Friday morning? Maybe we can set the time around Carleton’s class schedule so there is less whining.
Heard from an external source that multiple athletes in the conference are doping. SAD. Very disappointed in a state that is praised for its integrity in athletic competition. No matter the results at the conference meet, they will be invalid and void.
Power gets his way. He can't claim to value education any more. Definitely safety school for Carleton and Mac.
Bro nobody wants to run in 88-90 degree temps. It’s not about being tough when you see MIAC runners can’t run under 33:00 when it’s nice at Olaf. Grow a pair and tell your prof the meet was moved due to dangerous conditions. If you’re as smart as you claim to be, missing one class won’t set you back.
Looked like an interesting day for the MIAC at Blugold. Ihrke ran well and Fitterer seems to be the real deal as the top MIAC freshman. Tyler Edwards raced and he appears to be working his way back. They were well ahead of St. John's without St. Peter. No word on his return and it looked like a few others were missing. Maxwell is the king of late season peaking, so they will be fine.
Goss was missing for Concordia, whether that was for an injury or to because he's been nominated to be the King Corn Cob for Homecoming is unknonw.
Bati is Bati. I haven't checked Stava, but I know he's behind on miles for the week, so I bet he'll run 20 in the heat this afternoon. Turlington beat some guys, but he barely broke 25 on a fast course. It was nice of Bati to run with him for a while today to pace him again.
Oles ran okay. Looked like they were missing Iggy and a few others didn't have very good races. I wanted to mock them for losing to Platteville and Stevens Point, but they are better than other MIAC squads right now. In looking at places/times, they really weren't too far out of being in contention to win the whole meet. Platteville, Stevens Point, and Olaf are very, very even right now. Hopefully Chunko loses some weight from the stress and doesn't stress eat.
Bethel topped Scholastica, but Hootie appeared to have an off day and Bethel should crush the at conference.
The story of the day is Saint Mary's beating Moorehead by one point and Augsburg by three points. Moorhead runs Goss and they easily distance that group. Augsburg cut its gap from1-2 runners to 4:00 today and beat some team that flew in from Boston. If Hamline get Libratten back, this will be an awesome battle to not finish last.
Looks like Chunko was so angry at his team he made them do an intense lift after getting off the bus. Not sure that is wise after a race effort in extreme heat. Also not sure that retaliatory acts like that are legal. Of course, the strength coach is his boss now so maybe he was trying to impress him.
Why was the post about him running at the course removed? Do we have video proof he actually moved?
If the Gusties can find a 5th runner, they can be a top three team. They rolled at Wartburg today. Brauer is fully back and a legit contender for a top five finish. In small meet like the MIAC they can make some noise. I don't think they can beat Olaf, but they can run with them through four placers. The Gustie's new training approach is legit.
