Not getting into all of the speculation about this athlete; she absolutely does have talent. Her lower leg snaps down quickly and hits the track with a lot of force like a spring. Her biomechanics is similar to Meseret Defar, albeit she obviously does not have Meseret's aerobic base. From what I can see, she has a lot of natural talent and does not need drugs. If she can stay healthy, I think we are going to be surprised by this athlete, meaning I think she can become really-really good. With that said, with the force her lower legs hits the ground, I can also see too much volume/stress potentially causing a major injury.

Her performance today continues her impressive streak.

It will be interesting to see what kind of coverage/publicity comes from her agent and adidas after this.

What are you expecting from a great performance in a low-key opener? There is a much bigger race in eight days.
