Galen Rupp just joined the broadcast for the first time. He was FANTASTIC. Smiled, showed energy and had some great insight.
Meanwhile, Barrios is for some reason talking about Molly Huddle who will have no part in what happens in this race.
I want to know what races Barrios has ever done before. He better have had lots of experience and have been a star on like ESPN latin American. Otherwise, how did he even come up as an option?

The commentary is horrible, but so is the coverage. Men’s leaders are throwing down, guys are getting dropped, and we can see none of it. I’m expecting we will return from a commercial break to find Gidey all alone in the lead….

Part of the problem with Barrios is that the other commentators react to everything he says like he's an elderly uncle they're visiting at his senior home.
The only explanation that makes any sense is that they thought they were getting former 10,000 World Record Holder and 2:08 Marathoner ARTURO Barrios. Arturo’s English is impeccable.
