How is it CRT? Just using conservative buzzwords isn't an argument.
4.13: "The Black Feminist Movement and Womanism" 4.15: "African American Women's History and the Metalanguage of Race" 4.16: "Intersectionality and Activism" 4.19: "Black Queer Studies" 4.26: "Incarceration and Abolition" 4.29: "Movements for Black Lives" 4.30: "The Reparations Movement" 4.32: "Black Futures and Afrofuturism"
CRT isn't just a "conservative buzzword" you just don't know what it is. Let me educate you, my son.
All topics related to intersectionality, feminism, system/structural racism, equity (i.e. reparations and differences in incarceration rates) are either rooted in or closely related to Critical Theory, and Critical Race Theory is Critical Theory as it applies to race. Critical theory is a philosophical framework, which supposes that societal institutions and structures are designed to keep some groups in power (i.e. straight white males) and oppress everybody else. Critical Theorists attempt to prove this idea by pointing out certain disparities between groups.
Hope this clears everything up for you.
All subjects related to feminism are rooted in or closely related to CRT? How are studying current movements/debates the same as being taught that societal institutions are designed to keep straight white males in power and oppress everyone else? You are asserting a lesson plan that isn’t there.

So you literally want to make teaching about feminism illegal.
Ladies and gentleman, your 2023 GOP!!
In short, you're saying that Critical Theory supposes that those in power use that systemic power to suppress any challenges to their power.
That's the theory you want those in power to make illegal to teach in schools.
Got it.
(lol......you realize how absolutely stupid that stance sounds when you say it out loud, right?)

Me: feminism is related to critical theory
You: REEEEEEE HE SAID HE WANTS TO MAKE FEMINISM ILLEGAL!!!!!!
I would suggest closing the LR tab and find your nearest safe space, you can't even manage your anxiety and anger enough to read what I said. I don't want you to have an aneurysm.

Please explain how this allows for the teaching of slavery in America?
Shouldn't that also be outlawed according to this stance?
Being taught about Germany in WWII doesn't mean you are being taught that Jewish people are evil. Being taught about BLM doesn't mean you are being taught that white men are evil.
The Dahomey kingdom fought against the English because England banned slavery and that was their economic lifeblood.
Yes, whites may have "taken people against their will" when buying them, but the Africans captured and sold them also "against their will".
So western/whities were assisted by a portion of the African population to enslave a different portion of the African population so it's 'all good'. Solid logic there.
Being taught about Germany in WWII doesn't mean you are being taught that Jewish people are evil. Being taught about BLM doesn't mean you are being taught that white men are evil.
SMDH.
BLM is literally based on the idea that the laws and systems of policing are designed to oppress black people, and that incarceration disparities and every black person shot by the police is evidence of that. The BLM ideology has led to riots and billions of dollars based on this false premise. You couldn't have picked a worse example to disprove my point.

No. CRT goes further than just slavery, it supposes that all systems, structures, institutions and norms are designed to oppress black people.
Besides, slavery is already taught in history courses, which were not banned. Try harder.

The Nazis literally believed Jewish people caused the downfall of their society. The Nazi ideology led to millions of people dying.

I see we still have lying dumb ass white folks still trying to perpetuate the lie that the Trans Atlantic Slave trade was conceived, manufactured and implemented by Africans. Nothing could be further from the truth.
You and other racist white boys somehow think that Africans advertised to whites who showed up in west Africa that we have slave for sale. It was whites who came to Africa and having cannons and guns took people against their will. Some African Tribal Nation leaders sold their prison debtors and prisoners of war to the English, Spanish, French and Portuguese enslavers. No African built forts on the Atlantic coasts.
To further destroy your lie. The Trans Atlantic Slave trade wasn't just about transactions of slaves. (in Africa you weren't a slave based on color..it was for debts and prisoners) Chattel slavery is what whites did in the Western Hemisphere. If it was just Africans selling Africans to Europeans.....then explain why you never left and carved up Sub Sahara Africa into your colonies? Most African nations didn't gain independence from their evil colonizers until the 1960s and 1970s. In addition King Leopold enslaved Africans in Africa! (The Congo).
Go sit your dumb white ass down somewhere with your damn lies in an attempt to whitewash your history. Also the Dahomey Queen was enslaved by Europeans...so much for it just being Africans selling Africans.
More than 20 million Africans were captured/kidnapped by other Africans to be sold into slavery.
"Historians estimate that ten million of these abducted Africans “never even made it to the slave ships. Most died on the march to the sea”—still chained, yoked, and shackled by their African captors—before they ever laid eyes on a white slave trader."
Less than 300,000 slaves were sent to the English colonies and later the United States.
So US based slavers were the 'just' middle men and end users in a trade that enslaved other humans and treated them as property - how does that make it any less evil?
I assume you dont hold street dealers and local distributors to any responsibility in the drug trade as well just high level producers?

I love that you chose to compare these two ideologies. Nazi's falsely believed they were being persecuted by Jews, and BLM believers falsely believe Whites are persecuting black through the criminal justice system. Both have led to violence.
If you are proposing that BLM should be framed in the same way as antisemitic Nazi propaganda is - as a false ideology - then I agree with you.

I hold 18th and 19th century producers and users just as accountable today as I hold 18 and 19th century slave traders and owners.
Both are completely irrelevant to today and it would be IDIOTIC to get worked up about either. Yet there's people who devote their entire lives to pretending they still feel the effects of slavery today.

The point is your are equating being taught ABOUT an movement as being taught to subscribe to the tenants of that movement. Do you need your teachers to tell you how to think? That's sad.

I could see your point. However, if I were a parent, I wouldn't trust teachers in today's political climate to remain objective on these topics, and I wouldn't want my children to be taught CRT as true any more than I would want them to be taught Nazi ideology as truth.
Besides, this course isn't "banned" it's just not going to be funded through the Fl Dept of Education. If a parent desperately wants their kids to learn Marxist victimhood ideology, they can homeschool or send them to private school the offers the course.
The average black person has a lower IQ than the average white person. The average white person has a lower IQ than the average Asian person.
These are just facts. The Bell Curve (and the APA as well, if you want a woker source) states that the black-white IQ gap is 1SD.
So you’re saying you believe that the average black person is dumber than the average white person? So you aren’t calling a whole race of people dumb. Just the average member of that race?
