The authoritarian fairy tale goes: If there were no weapons for the resistance, Russia would end things quickly, install a Putin-controlled puppet regime, and everyone would live peacefully ever after, with a world order in balance. Of course, in fact, Russia is bombing civilian targets. Russia has shown no regard for the people of Ukraine or even its own soldiers. Millions of people have fled the country and Russia intends to keep it subservient by force while its oligarchy sucks it dry. Abandoning Ukraine would leave them stranded in the vice-grip of delusional, violent psychopath. It would avoid prolonged suffering by offering a swift death instead. A huge part of world is currently taking a stand against authoritarianism and Tucker wants the US to sit down.

Russia is massively winning this. Gonna make Europe pay for gas in Rubles from now on, which is gonna stabilize and improve Russian economy.
European leaders are morans. They have put themselves in a position where they either will have to massively buy Rubles or buy gas from the US, for 7 times more than what Russia charges, which is why thia war began in the first place, since the US desperately needs a new market to save their own tanking economy.
In addition, sanctions will push Russia into Chinas arms, which will form a very strong alliance, which on the long run will cause the demise of EU.

Nobody in europe is buying anything with rubles. Russia needs the gas payments in some form, more than EU needs the gas. Some EU countries like poland in fact want to stop the EU from buying anything from russia. We'll see next week when the change is supposed to happen.
