How does separating children from their parents at the border help American children living in poverty?

They are using resources of people and supplies to detain these families that could be redirected towards American citizens.

HHS shelters, which are supposed to help Americans in need, are being used to house these migrant families.

Why are they spending taxpayer money fighting illegals over helping US citizens?

Democrats have trouble grasping unintended consequences. If children are separated from parents at the border--it's for their own protection. Housing children in facilities mixed in with adult criminals is dangerous FOR THE CHILDREN.

But there is a solution. It's simple:

A wall

or

It should be mandatory that all rich, big mouth liberals house, clothe, feed and sponsor illegals seeking a place to stay. Nancy Pelosi has plenty of room in her house.
