ok, I'll be a 7rd grade social studies teacher and tell you some truths.

1) Tore it down: First he tore down the GOP. It used to be a center right group, playing in the lines, not racist. Against tyrants. Now it embraces racism, it alienates alies, it is against free trade, it is pro-tyrant. Trump tore down the GOP and remade it in his image.

I could keep going - Euro-US relations, morals in politics, the idea that the president doesn't lie to the people all day and all night, that foprmal press conferences are normal and good, that POTUS is supposed to be president of hte whole nation, not just the resentful whites. Paris deal, IRan deal, TPP, I could keep going. You aren't supposed to use the WH to persute your political foes. He is tearing it all down and you don't care because he is owning the libs.

It's interesting that we are starting to see some right wing factions distancing themselves from Trump, only in that they feel they're losing independent direction.

Bible thumpers, other rightwing groups are s feeling used politically and reaffirming they're own independent credo. This is typically the initial push back to totalitarianism. Are we seeing the very slight beginnings of anti-Trumpism? Is he becoming too dominant, even for parts of his base?

Ummm, no. 41.4% and on a downward slope.

OK, while the drunk hecklers in the cheap seats continue to prove my initial point was correct, I need to get around to the promised first principles a person should base their values and world views on.

I won't bore you with Natural Law, but a detailed analysis of this philosophy can be found there.

Basically, everything is based on human nature, and until human nature changes our first principles will not change. Now keep in mind that genetic engineering is moving rapidly, and we may have a new form of human being soon, so we have to keep an open mind about this, but right now this is where we are.

Human Nature:

1. Life: People don't want to be hurt by others.

2. Liberty: People don't want to be enslaved by others, they want to be free to do what they want as long as they don't hurt others.

3. Property: People want to keep the fruit of their labors. (Man, I HATE that phrase, but that's the standard way of saying it)

That is a Law of Nature (a Law of Physics on the football field) meaning that if you try to violate any of those, people get hurt. This is the foundation of your world view, and until we build a new type of human, can NEVER be changed by passing new rules or demonizing other people. You will notice that this is based on the individual, not groups of people.

From that we immediately get a Rule Book (Constitution) based on our world view:

A just government helps the individual protect their rights to:

1. Life

2. Liberty

3. Property

Anything less is a dereliction of duty.

Anything more is an abuse of power.

SHAZAYAM!!! It turns out that our Constitution looks exactly like this theoretical rule book! Pure luck? No, because it was created by people who understood human nature and did their best to create a form of government that would protect individual rights.

When people ask "What would YOU do to fix our problems?!", my answer is "How about we start by obeying our own rule book, the Constitution?", because violating the Constitution ultimately means violating one of the three foundational Laws of Human Nature, which means people will get hurt, and that's either a dereliction of duty, or an abuse of power.

Oh hey look NY State is saying the Trump Foundation broke the law repeatedly and often. You guys really don't know that you elected a serial criminal? I mean that's how he operates. That's his thing. the constitution is a wonderful document but it has had to be modified/amended 27 times and the Supreme Court and other Federal Courts spend a lot of time sorting out what the Constitution means. Meaning it's often not clear how to follow the constitution. Many gray areas. So your ultra-simplistic view is yeah probably around 11th grade level sophistication.

Better than usual, so kudos.

Also, the constitution would be tweaker for the changes in the last 200 years. Eliminate the electoral college system.

And require release of tax returns going back at least 10 years, and full divestment of businesses owned, BEFORE being allowed to be on a ballot for president or as a member of Congress. That will stop a lot of self-serving clowns from running for offices.

And require that Congress must vote on judgeships and SOCTUS nominations within 90 days. Failure to vote means automatic approval of the nominee.

Trump has parents of Korean War MIA's asking him to bring their sons home.

So these people asking him this would be in their 100's.

The Korean War ended in 1953. My father is a veteran of that was. He was mid 20s when it ended. He is 91 years old now. His mom passed away in 1983 when she was 80. She would be 115 if she was still around.

The people who asked Trump to bring their children's remains home would be 110+.
