Dave is a keen runner and cyclist who has taken on many challenges for charity. Unfortunately, he became the target of cyberbullying during his fundraising campaigns and went through a very difficult time, as the bullying extended to his wife and even to their children too. After receiving support from Bullying UK he is now passionate about raising awareness of cyberbullying and the help that is available to anyone suffering from it. He is taking part in the Bournemouth Half Marathon in aid of Bullying UK and is planning further challenges too.
â€œMy wife Terrie and I and my children will continue with our campaign to raise awareness to what is becoming an even more dangerous problem every-day, we can help educate and advise people that may be going through what we still to date go through our problem has not gone away we have just learnt to deal with it. I shall go on to run in future events and next year my son George and I will finish our journey from John O Groats to Land' End on foot and bike to raise awareness and much needed funding for Bullying UK as they helped us through the toughest challenge I have done to date.â€

Bournemouth Marathon is tomorrow if Dave's still doing it.

It's potentially an easy course to cheat. Lots of out & backs and even short cuts that can be taken between parts of the route.

Hopefully they have an extra timing mat at mile 23 because the last 6+ miles is along a stretch of promenade about 10 feet wide which is open to the public. You'd only need to stop and stretch or at a toilet then a minute later and run in the other direction.

1h:55m:34s is a decent time for a middle aged weekend warrior, nothing to be ashamed of. I know many people whose goal is a sub 2 hour half. I am sure he must really regret the world record LEJOG bravado and the 3 hour London Marathon claim.

Yeah, he got caught out big time. His original London Marathon claims were just silly and his claim that he was going break the LEJOG world record were just outright ridiculous! I know he's claiming to be the victim in all this however, it was clear from the outset, he was never capable of running the LEJOG world record and that the only way he could beat the time was to cheat!

The company shows Dave Reading as the only Director, if the business is to be used as stated surely it would be better to set it up as a not for profit charity? - add this to all the lies and false claims made by Dave regarding his running and it just looks like an attempt at a smokescreen to cover his tracks having been exposed. How could anyone possibly be expected to trust this company. As above this is not an angry, haters post but a simple truthful remark

Hi Graham, I'm in this to make lots of money not give any to charity. I have several speaking engagements coming up and I have a ghost writer writing a book which I will hopefully get paid for. If I do any charity work I leave them to raise the money. Many thanks for your polite comment.
