Terrie Reading Shell Waters okay so had a quick chat and Dave is currently training now for Bournemouth beginning Oct, so we thought what about Saturday 21st Oct Pier to Pier challenge Run and ride, will be good training for JOGLE it's approximately 110-120 miles (will have to sort a route) Get to Southend Pier on the Sunday (sort out rough times later). And ties in with Myia's Birthday. Dave doesn't get involved with fund raising any more (due to recent accusations) but I will certainly help promote it. We will also need to find some one to drive the van as he will need he's bike in it when running. George will probably also ride it with him. X

Just imagine how different things would of been if LetsRun hadn't started this thread. He'd of likely managed claim they broke the LEJOG world record, would of ran London Marathon as a ultra running world record holder and, would of gone on to become a 'Z' list running celeb!

Hey, seeing the London Marathon and GWR collaboration on the front page reminded me of another of Dave's fake run. Did the London Marathon ever get back to us with the results of the investigation?

No, Hugh at London Marathon never replied with a result of his investigation. It looks like they had the GPS data from Dave & Terrie all along but didn't even bother telling us that this was the evidence they had after being asked so many times in the past about what evidence they were talking about. From what can be seen from Dave Reading taking his to chip off his shoe and claiming a 3:12 finish time to everyone starting immediately after he crossed the finish line, I would expect he claimed this time with London Marathon, too, initially. But I don't think we will find out from London Marathon since it looks like they just want to ignore this.

I don't think I will bother pursuing London Marathon any more to ask them about the 3:12 time. Not worth the effort and I consider this investigation essentially complete with the overwhelming amount of evidence gathered in the investigation summary document.

I consider the lies Dave & Terrie told about Dave having done the AJ Bell London Triathlon even more damning than the London Marathon. Dave & Terrie had the fall to write a detailed magazine article about Dave's training and result at the triathlon when he didn't even do it AT ALL.

I will never believe he did a legit 4:12. For a start, his Tomtom was broken, and he's just not that fast.

It's very wrong you can just leave your chip off and get a time by supplying watch data that can be forged.

He managed to avoid most photographers and only appeared to come up with the 4 hour data AFTER London wouldn't let him get away with a 3:12 and had told him he finished at 4:19 clock time.

So anyone could give their watch to a fast person, leave their chip off, then get a ride to the finish and ask London for the cheated time.

They already have come back with a scam. Cycling to raise money for that dodgy baby "charity" that isn't a proper charity and is run by a woman called Michelle who used to be called READING.

The Readings will be off on their next self-promotional adventure on October 21.

You know, at this point I'm actually hoping that ol' Dave decides to go straight and makes a clean and honest effort to spend this next year training. If he takes on LEJOG again but does it legitimately, I'll be cheering for the rehabilitated cheat.
