That's how a 800/1500 specialist trains. I remember the 2nd photo in a mag back in the 70s. T&FN, Runner, or Runner's World? I always had an afinity for sand dunes afterward (that and Herb Elliott's great sand dune photos).

That was ONE weekend. Ovett did not train there regularly.

you know that emma coburn photo that has been going around for a while - I came across the original and the photoshopped version. Interesting to see how this works.
