my favorite and hanging in my room autographed by the man Rod Dixon
This is always a classic
This is mine. The look of victory on Symmonds face, the shock on Wheating's face and Christian Smith diving for the 3rd spot in the background. Encompasses everything in one picture!
Some of my favorites.

That is amazing! What race is that?
OK, I see it is Athens Olympics 2004...
But is this the final or a qualifying heat? I can't imagine this happening in the final.
I think it's heat 2-Kipruto and Vroeman.
Despite the final race outcome and all the history since, I've always liked this picture:

That sounds right. This came up in another thread a couple weeks ago.

Adam C - nice compendium of heroes but not particularly great photos.
My favorite is of John Smith defeating Lee Evans and Curtis Mills at the 1970 AAU championships. It was run in Sports Illustrated. Here is the link to the article but to see the picture you have to click on the "view this issue" link and page over. It is will worth it.

I also like the Seb Coe in Moscow and Jim Ryun HS record photos. Those are great!

Sorry for the long URL but this is my all-time favorite Prefontaine picture that I had hanging on my wall during my last XC season in college:

I think my favorite so far is the Bannister pic. Indeed, cliche for a reason.
I also really like the Nick Symmonds & co. pic.
How about this one, haha:
I'll have to think about my FAVORITE, but I'm surprised this one hasn't been posted:
