I don’t think it’s an accusation because she herself has spoken about it. She certainly is running amazing times. But if it’s at a cost to her heart health, bone health, future in the sport or future health, what’s the point?

Look at her post from less than a year ago, on April 26, 2025, in which she takes a handoff in the 4x800m. My first reaction was “you gotta be kidding me; is this the same athlete”?
Hours on the machine, among other things, maybe helps with smoothing out mechanics, making them a bit robotic-like, to be efficient and unwavering?
(Sorry for us publicly putting you under the microscope, Ms. Zang; your recent athletic exploit makes you a curiosity that others, coaches and athletes, have had much more experience in handling. But this method of aerobic development does not have the historic track record compared to the “100mikes/wk” Lydiard ‘cheat-code’.
