Seriously doubt this. Mizzou Administration has never ever cared how well their track and cross country teams perform in order to keep their jobs. That being said, the current xc coach is killing it compared to the ones the previous 40 years! Takes time and he has def brought them up and will keep climbing.

It has to be a program like Florida. Mizzou not qualifying their men at the XC nationals they hosted is a huge whiff but nobody has more job security in the SEC then Brett Halter.

Brett Halter has been great for Mizzou Track and Field. In 10 years they will name the track after him. I heard he is fighting to build a javelin training facility in the near future. This would officially make them "Javelin University" especially after the recent success this group has had. I expect Mizzou to add multiple javelin throwers in the next portal window.

Ok. Now, a reason why so that potential applicants in the future can make an informed decision. The distance coach seems to be doing ok for what the school is/has.
Was it something the coach did(behavior) or was it a part of the usual embedded sports/cultural problem that plagues that athletic dept.?
