we used to be bonded by things like EVERYBODY Is watching something from one of three channels every night. now there are 400 streaming apps and everyone is watching at different times. so our society needs dumb viral sensations to have a common bond that is ubiquitous.

Japanese marathoners put hoops on the top of their bottles so they are easier and a sure grab. Is there some reason other countries don't do that?

Highly recommend downloading the app to track runners of interest. It’s showing Rupp as the No. 4 American, btw. Tied with at least one other person though.

Observing Mantz over the past few years, his form has gotten much smoother. He looks fantastic.
