It's pretty wild to me that Soles whined and moaned for years about the unfairness of having 8th graders and the inequality of having to run every year on a muddy course, but he's perfectly ok with taking advantage if his state's transfer rules. I'm aware that Utah and Colorado both have open enrollment laws, are there other states who do as well? That law is a king-maker, any school with strong coaching who has a few strong runners can all of a sudden become a juggernaut. No wonder the SW schools look so strong, that is an insurmountable advantage. I count at least three transfers on the MV team, I'm curious who the top truly public school was without any transfers.
