After watching that debate his whole platform seems to be 'Things were better when I was president' but for that to be true you have to ignore the last year of his presidency and ignore everything Obama left him with.

Am I the only one who thought the United States citizens are the only loser after last night? Both of these idiots couldn't run a corner store, let alone a country. Where are the real leaders?

I'm just fine with Harris running country.
She'd be in the long line of center left Dems who bring prosperity to the nation.
Clinton, Obama, Biden..not a recession from any of them. And no scandals from the last two.
not sure what the complaint is.
What you may be missing is that Dems hire good people to cover their weaknesses.
Rs do not.

At least ABC called out Trump on his BS, but sometimes they lied too. Everyone thinks they know everything and has no idea what an idiot they are.
I'm genuinely curious what lies you believe were stated by the ABC moderators.
Muir cited falsely misleading crime data study that failed to include worst crime cities LA, NYC and Chicago.
Muir asked Harris if she ever met Putin in response to Trump truthfully saying Harris was deployed to Europe in 2022 for failed trip to stabilize relations between Ukraine and Russia. Muir then let Harris claim that was a Trump lie.
Davis interrupted Trump to state "there is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born" - that's an easy lie, legal in six states + Washington DC.

INCORRECT! You are out of your freakin' mind. WTF is wrong with you? Seek help.

Those are just a few of many. Get the gist?
NYC has a pretty low per capita crime rate. It hasn't been bad there since the 80s.
Harris failed to stabilize Russian/Ukrainian relations, sure. But better failure than facilitation a la Trump.
And please, where can you kill a baby after it's born? This should be rich.
Why are there so many removed posts from this thread? DO you not expect some insults on a contentious political thread? I expect insults on a non running - especially political - thread, not one about 5k/10k/half training or whatever...
Trump did well overall - there was no clear winner - especially when you consider the 3v1 debate he had to endure.
I just wish he deflected about the 2020 election a bit more skillfully instead of repeating his 'lived experience' that he won
He lost soundly.
National Review:
“If you’re obsessing over how bad, how in the tank for Kamala Harris, the two ABC news moderators were, it’s because you don’t want to come to grips with the brute fact that Donald Trump was a disaster last night. He was unhinged, often incoherent, incapable of completing thoughts and sentences when he had points to make, and led into self-absorbed rabbit-holes — claims that he won the 2020 election, the size of his rallies, whether “migrants” are eating stolen pets — that diverted him from opportunity after opportunity to expose Harris as a radical leftist now pretending to be a pragmatic centrist who suddenly loves her some guns.”
Brit Hume (on Fox News) said it was a bad night for Trump. The Wall Street Journal agreed. Erick Erickson agreed, etc.
The only people who claim that he did well are extreme partisans who parrot his other lies and act as though the only people who disagree with him or distrust him are biased far-left hacks.
Look, vote for whom you want to. But if this is supposed to excuse voting for Trump...
I’m not excusing anything, certainly not voting for Trump. I just love to point out the hypocrisy on the left more than anything, because they really do get away with their Kabuki Theatre nonsense among the gullible. Racial grievance, abortion, and “existential threat to Democracy” rhetoric works on most Americans, sadly.
Debt to GDP rose suddenly under Trump because of Covid. Do you blame him for Covid? Seriously. So, as the economy recovered from the pandemic-caused temporary recession and the government “stimulus” should’ve abated quickly, why is debt/GDP still growing? It is a real threat to the well being of the economy, real productive growth, but youngins don’t know why or what that means. It had its first meaningful pop under GW Bush, then grew precipitously during the Obama reign to over 100%.
You’ll get no argument from me on Bush II’s ridiculous incursion into Iraq or attempts to democratize Afghanistan. None whatsoever. Does it sound like I’m defending that? I think the current misadventures in both Ukraine/Russia and Israel/Gaza need never have happened, yet, here we are on the hook again paying hundreds of billions to fight those “wars.”
Again, do you blame Trump for Covid? What was he supposed to do that he didn’t? If anything, he got punished at the ballot box because of everything that happened in 2020. Btw, BLM riots, Chaz riots, attacks on cities and government buildings, attacks on police… you ok with all of that? I mean, if you are buying into the Kabuki Theatre of the most well telegraphed “coup” in history, do you give all of the other violence perpetrators a pass?
Kamala was the most left-leaning and voting member of the Senate. Bernie Sanders has come out and accepted her “center-drift” as a necessary game, but that’s she’s truly a progressive at heart. So, she wants to raise taxes, implement an unrealized capital gains tax (I know, it will never happen but to even bring it up😂🤦♂️), straight money from the taxpayers to give others a down payment for housing, including illegals. She is not center left. She’s an economically illiterate idiot.
On the anniversary of 9/11, this country has never been in more danger. Failing public schools, particularly in big cities, a porous border for 3.5 long years letting in vastly more illegal immigrants than ever before in the history of this country, a generation of kids addicted to TikTok, the social media platforms owned and run by Democrats, drug addiction and polluted foodstuffs, a coup to take out Joe Biden and install someone with no serious policy experience or voter support initially, a world embroiled in war, and a sheep population that just let the government run roughshod over individual liberty in the wake of Covid. But, if you can’t get past the “rhetoric” about “existential threats to Democracy” and see that we’re sitting on a powder keg with the current administration, then there’s no righting the ship.

When has any major issue not been blamed on the sitting president? Everything from gas prices to things that happen a world away are routinely blamed on whoever is the president at the time. But covid 'oh no not Trumps fault and there was nothing he could have done except divide the American people and politicize the biggest health crisis the world has seen for over 100 years'. He did the best job!
Reuters interviewed 10 people who were still unsure how they were going to vote in the Nov. 5 election before they watched the debate. Six said afterward they would now either vote for Trump or were leaning toward backing him. Three said they would now back Harris and one was still unsure how he would vote. Harris and Trump are in a tight race and the election will likely be decided by just tens of thousands of votes in a handful of battleground states, many of whom are swing voters like the undecided voters who spoke to Reuters. Although the sample size was small, the responses suggested Harris might need to provide more detailed policy proposals to win over voters who have yet to make up their minds. Five said they found Harris vague during the more than 90-minute debate on how she would improve the U.S. economy and deal with the high cost of living, a top concern for voters.
