The purists don't like Tuohy's forward lean and hunched shoulders. Personally, I've always liked it, as it appears she is 'on a mission'. She runs relaxed and everyone has their unique signature style.

The reported 4:23.97 was erroneously reported by the track…she fished 3rd behind Monson and Morgan (2 established pro’s) in 4:24.26…a couple of tenths behind Morgan, who was a couple of tenths behind Monson. Nice finishing kick for all 3. Tuohy did a 31 second lap to overtake Morgan at around 1400M. I’m thinking this might be her natural distance, even ahead of the 5K…though she showed enough speed to easily go sub 8:50 in 3K and sub 15 @ 5K…we’ll see. The reminder of the indoor season should be telling…she clearly can keep up with the pro’s and should be able to join their ranks in the couple of years, if not sooner.
