It blows my mind that this post has 25 downvotes and only 9 upvotes. It shows that people just don't like the truth a lot of the time. They are set in their ways.
You're not getting downvoted because what you wrote was untrue; you're getting downvoted because you're a dickhead.
Unfortunately, one of the prime reasons why people are dickheads is because they lack self-awareness and introspection, so I wouldn't expect you to understand why you're catching flack.
Switching runners up in the 4x1 makes me very nervous. It seems they had a good rthymn yesterday. I wouldn’t want to mess with that. Especially on the 2nd leg, so you affect 2 of the 3 exchanges
watching Gidey celebrating Tsegay, Kerr celebrating Wightman, and Benjamin celebrating Bissett are some of the best moments of these world champs for me!
Why? Because Americans never do it? Normal behaviour all over the world.
Well, it's up to Mu and Fish to keep the American distance mzungos (and a few US non-mzungos) from being totally skunked in this meet. And I don't really count Mu as a distance runner. Fish? I don't know, it seems to be a pattern where he can hang all the way until the last 200 but doesn't have that one last kick in him.
Fisher has zero kick. He has no chance in the 5,000 unless they can go sub-13:10 and it's strung out enough that his kick doesn't matter.
Fisher had a medal kick in the 10000m but he started it too far back. He positioned himself poorly going into the last lap or he would have nabbed a medal.

Moloney looks soft compared to Tokyo. Not sure what's happened to all our track athletes over the past 12 months but they all have looked flat asf. Covid maybe?

They included Americans. The women's javelin celebrations were really sweet too.

Lol probably exactly that. It’s easy when you win to celebrate others. It’s a lot harder when you don’t place the way you want to and you still celebrate your teammate. IE Gidey and Kerr.

Oh, actually I mentioned javelins and the American won there, lol. But I just mean everyone was happy for everyone and it was an unexpected result for the American anyway.
