I thought Mu was supposed to run a 400m last week(end) but have not found anything. Apparently I was mistaken.

I won't pretend I saw what Athing has done in 2021 because I thought she may improve to 1:58.8 by the end of the season and she already blew that out the water. It's not far fetched that she may improve to around 1:55.9 which would make her a Gold medal favorite. Yes she is still a teenager but Pamela Jelimo ran 1:54.30 as a teenager and Athing is just as talented if not more so.
Jelimo was juiced.
So who is the clean Women 800 WR holder according to you?

Must be Melissa Bishop. She fulfills almost all of the requirements demanded by that racist turd.

Training like a horse means nothing. You also have to do it right and Ryun definitely didn't have the right coaching nor resources to advance further.
I could tell you about the advantages that professional athletes have nowadays, like facilities, doctors, psychologists, management, coaching, sponsorships and many more, but will it make any difference to you?
Probably the only clean WR holder for you was Ryun.
When you listed the advantages athletes have today you left out doping. It is after all a doped wr that you confidently expect a clean athlete to beat.
So Ryun, who set multiple world records at the ages of 19/20, "didnt do it right". There would be many - Mu included, I'm sure - who would be happy to make his mistakes.
You have shown countless times that you know absolutely nothing about elite level training.
You are way out of your depth here.
We had a similar discussion before Mu became well known when after Semenya's ban, 800m women became very lackluster for almost a season. The all time 800m women is the dirtiest ever. Clean WR could be Van Langen or Wilson or Goule.
There are so many almost certainly dirty marks below 1:56 that hardly any can be not suspicious. That's one reason why many of us doubters who don't think Mu will break Kratochvilova's record conceded that she might well get a clean WR around 1:55 or even slightly below.

Well Ajee Wilson had her Beef Story, so that puts a stain on her legacy. Nowadays I would rather have Mu take the olympic gold than Wilson.

She was supposed to but torrential rain canceled the meet.

There isn't any depth. Threads like this are simply populated by fans.

From the athletes listed I wouldn't be confident anything under 1.56 is clean. In fact we can't be sure any athlete is clean. But I am sure 1.53/54 isnt.

Kratochvilova is white. So are all the other E Bloc dopers and Russian women. Moron.

Well that's no answer to my question. I would like to see a name. Who is the clean female 800m WR holder TO YOU?

It is an answer but you didnt understand it. Because of the prevalence of doping at the top of sport and women's middle distance running I couldn't say who I think is the clean record holder. As I have said, too many performances under 1.56 are questionable. Whoever is the clean record holder may possibly have run in that region. But I don't buy anything that is 1.53/54.

Yeah yeah I love it when you break it down to me (twice) like it's some news. Dude, I've been in this sport myself for like 15 years and know all the names, times and doping conspiracies by heart.
I want to know if you're a fan of this distance enough to pick a name for yourself that you would trust as a clean WR holder.
So far it seems to me the only name you believe in and respect is Ryun, so why are you even in this discussion?
It is wrong to think that it's impossible for clean athletes to beat dirty WRs. Sometime, maybe once a hundred years a freak of nature shows up to do just that. Or imagine if all other sports would be banned and only track existed. Super talented people from high-paid sports would refocus on T&F and probably most of the existing records would be gone within a decade.
Unlikely.Super talented people from other sports wouldnt be talented enough to break world track and field records. Not even by a long shot.If they had that track potential, they wouldnt be competing in other sports. Some soccer players, american footballers, tennis players and others are fast, but not that fast.Theyre fast compared to regular people but arent competitive with trained athletes.

Not true. Professionals from other sports have certain physical and mental qualities that could make them successful somewhere else too. One of the newer examples would be Erling Haaland, google him. He ran 60m in 6.64 in a soccer game, cleets, grass and all. Gareth Bale is known to have reached 40km/h in a game.
World champion in high jump Donald Thomas used to be a basketball player in college and only tried out high jump because of some track athletes noticing his talent while dunking.
Theres no way in hell van langan was clean.

You aren't very bright, are you? I was simply giving Ryun as an example of a top athlete who didn't improve on his 800m best past the age of 19, to show that big improvements in prodigies are not necessarily on the cards - which is what is being maintained here about Mu.
The nature of doping is such that it is impossible to say with any confidence that any given athlete today is clean. That's why I don't provide you with a name. But I do know the level that I don't believe is clean - and that is the level you think Mu can exceed.
When a record has endured for nearly 4 decades against every assault, that has included likely doped runners, there is no way that it can be beaten by a clean athlete. You don't understand doping if you think it can. It is the same with Flojo's records. They will never be beaten by a clean athlete.
So you've been following the sport for 15 years. Whoop de do. I've been following it for nearly 60. I've seen quite a bit more than you. I wouldn't call myself a fan now. That would require ignoring everything I've learned about doping in professional sport and running especially.

Utter rubbish. You are completely prejudiced.
And don't you dare compare Jelimo to obvious dopers like Kratochilova because that will further expose your prejudice
He ran 36.9 not 40 the record is 38km/h by bruno henrique, and the 6.64 60 was likely timed after at least one step was taken.
Maybe a few nba players or volleyball players could high jump well, but it's not many, they would probably be the one foot jumpers that are over 6'4 and have verticals well over 40 inches.

Sorry moron, I forgot to add that anyone who is not a native English speaker from one of your chosen countries is automatically a doper.
