Looking at his planned route I see it takes him through Warrington. I work there Monday - Friday, if he comes through whilst I'm there I'll jog along with him for a few miles and see what sort of pace / shape he's in.
I also not that although he's taken out any reference to world record attempt on his website the 'About' section states the following:
"He plans to reach John O’Groats on
15th April 2017, take a short rest and then tackle the London Marathon on 23 April"
So that's nine days from start to finish....if he can actually 'run' that in the time stated I will be absolutely stunned. Bear in mind elite level ultra runners would find this a pretty tough task I cannot fathom how a slightly chubby, unexperienced and unproven ultra runner with no running pedigree could be anywhere near this time on foot.

What evidence do you have that Scott has faked runs? Plenty of evidence he has done real ultras.
A crazy person has been sending malicious messages to the friends of about 15 people accusing these 15 of faking runs, and Scott included. I dont see any evidence of fake runs from him. These 15 seem to be connected to Badwater and have attracted a crazy stalker

On Facebook, Matressman (probably Nicky) deleted the two long, well articulated comments saying Dave Reading is disrespecting the running community and that he has no ultrarunning background, while keeping the two comments fawning over him.
Looks like Matressman cannot be trusted as an honest company and is just as bad as Dave Reading. I say boycott them. If they are this bad when confronted with this scam, I wouldn't want to do any business with them.

I asked to see evidence/stats/watch data from all her other runs, the world record ones etc, and asked where the charity money goes.

2010 run she had an RV as support vehicle and had ten awesome drivers who volunteered throughout that summer each staying with her for 7-14 days.
The next three legs of the run, she stayed in people's homes, had no support vehicle and locals helped her. She has stayed in 100's of homes and allowed locals to help her. That's a lot of people. .

She does not take money for a charity! She raises money through sales and donates to her own late mother's memorial fund.

LRC never does that "boots on ground" stuff. Except for Asher Delmott and the Geezers, not one single LRC poster ever bothered to follow Rob Young on the roads this past summer.

You seem very concerned about badwater. Are you concerned people will notice that is one of the events that all of the athletes (an awful lot of whom aren't even great marathoners nor could they win a local 5k), also use a spot tracker a la marathon man uk instead of a gps with individual cadence and footstrike measured....then use their participation in this "prestigious event" to try to sell themselves as "inspirational speakers".
It all sounds very distressing for these folks. Seems like just uploading a complete gps in less than 5 minutes would solve the problem so it's not distressing for them, no?
