Please be more clearly from St. Olaf. Also, did you see the Oles try to double back from the 5k last year? It wasn't pretty. 2-3 is unlikely, especially if they have Tommy F to contend with in the 1500m.

It was about 80 degrees on the Saturday of outdoor conference last year and there was minimal shade both on the track and in the stands. I'd say that had more to do with Campbell's and Coffey's lackluster 5K performances than anything else.

I heard that it is because the weather is not ideal, and the Carleton coach doesn't want to risk him getting hurt before nationals.

Anyone have some insight on what happened to their 4x8?

Their leadoff got pushed in the pack chaos and went down. It was all over for them 300 in.

I mean, someone probably should have told that boob the check the schedule because the only events on day 1 that are final are the 10k, 4x8, and field events. Interested to see if the Oles can match St Thomas's 28 points in the long jump with 7 guys in the 1500 final tomorrow. Or to see if Mac and St Mary's can acclipse that mark.
