Said it yesterday. the field is too deep. nuguse needed to wait between 600 and 800 meters.

Someone had to start a thread. Anyone else watching this super intense Men's 20k Racewalk???????
(I'm actually not since its not on Peacock.)
Anyway, should be an exciting day with 1500s and Steeples later. Watching out for Mikey Brannigan in the Para 1500 too, you never know when he'll run a faster time than the regular mens 1500 ;)
I deserve a Huge apology from everyone on this board doubting me. Hocker and Nuguse timed their cycles right in Paris but today were obviously off it. Good for Hocker who is still good enough to make the team.

truly stunned. can't believe Goose and Kessler faded like that.
Less fading and more that they couldn't close the last 100 in sub 13. Koech closed in 12.49 and Hocker in 12.54. Strand in 12.69.
Drug test asap
Don't tell me there was an olympic champion in this race
Congrats to the 28 year old Koech

GO HEELS!
called it yesterday....Koech....Hocker will be lights out in Tokyo...he won't make tactical error again
Men's 1500 is always the best event it seems
Nuguse needs to work on his tactics… the field is far too deep domestically to think running them into the ground from the start will work

Hocker played it safe feels like. He didn’t make his big move with 300m to go like he did last year. Still 6 weeks left til worlds.
idk - he was boxed in and back in 6th or so with 150 to go. Looked panicked in the last 50m.

Glad to see Nuguse and Hobbs not medal or make the team.
Same brother. I'm gonna pop a champagne 🍾
Amazed by strand. Thought he was toast going into the bell. What a close

Speed kills.
Doping kills. Both Koech’s are some of the most obvious dopers of all time.
Goose needs to win DL final if he has any chance

Mackay kinda barked at someone behind her when they were all still bunched together - Maclean? Then they were right next to each other on that final turn before Mackay pulled away down the stretch. Bet she's happy about that
I noticed this as well but not sure who she was yelling at.... Mackay post race comments felt a little pointed toward the team change. Heather broke with 100 to go - hate to see that

Hocker hasn't won a race since Paris. I wouldn't count on it.
