Pretty sure any effort on Turlington’s part was just to wear Bati out for the 3k. The 5k was a foregone conclusion.

Great racing by him. Paced it well, although someone needs to nudge Shof out of the camera view. That 600 was a disaster for the Ole's. What about the Dmed? Surprised Coffey had such a rough leg, was he ill?
Power said that was their shot to try to qualify in the 5000m. I guess that makes sense, but very hard to do solo.
What a strange 3K! Loved Smith throwing up the anti Ole sign at the end of the K. The balance of power is shifting.
This is probably the first meet in years the Oles didn’t double distance points of every other school and they still placed second. Nobody will beat Bethel.
