1. When did JI run a 800 meter in good weather last? It's just a clutching at straws argument.
2. Most of the year he runs more than 100mps, more like 115-130.
3. These milers of the past did not measure their lactate X amount of times every day to optimize their training effort.
4. They didn't have super-shoes
5. They didn't have wave length pacing.
6. How many of these former super athletes followed a professional training regime before hey were teenaagers?
By all means, feel free to think he is doped to the gills and argue your case as much as you wish, but let's not pretend JI haven't had a set of advantages in his training regime that pretty much no prior before him has had.
I find it interesting that runners copying his training methods are crushing it and I think by copying his traning methods, a new runner will emerge sooner than most people think to surpass his times.
Maybe Laros?
He has all those advantages you describe and yet he is no faster than a schoolboy over the 800.
Yeah. Snell sucked too because he was never competitive in the Marathon. You obsessive idiot, ruin every thread with your inane, repetitive posts.
In the 70's Jim Ryun suggested that the most dramatic improvement in middle distances like the mile would require world class 400 speed. He didn't anticipate the effect of doping. We see runners today who are pedestrian over the 400 and 800 excelling over the 1500 and 3k.
As I've spelled out many times, that's where you live. I've seen it so many times from the pathetic types on one forum after another. They had heroes of their youth and assumed those would always be the legendary names, and that nobody could surpass their feats. Not by much, anyway.
Once it began to happen the only desperate recourse was blanket denial. This can't be real. None of it is real. Then the Lance Armstrong situation showed up as a savior deflection, to be laughably summoned again and again and mindlessly again. Every thread. Every page.
No kidding you despise the term outlier because you base the entirety of your rants on the ultimate outlier.
wasn't there a random kenyan dude right behind him? 7:17 is good but if some random kenyan can be within 3 seconds of you is it really that 'great' ? don't get me wrong he ran a world record. but the shoes and wavelight are factors today.
Aregawi is no random Kenyan, he's an Ethiopian beast who ran 12:40 closing in 55 to drop Cheptegei from the front. And yet, he wasn't "right behind him", Jakob still gapped him by 40 meters.
You cant compare africans to euros like this. They mature differently.
Oh really? Euros mature worse due to them being more modern and irradiated by RF btw. Ever heard about Daniel Komen, the african, growing up amongst the bushes with not a single RF in a 50 mile radius? That's why Komen is clean as a whistle, because I applied RF theory first.
Jakob ran a 1:46 in 2020 for 800m and then a 1:47 in 2022 while being in supposedly better shape 2 years on and a stronger athlete. I don't expect his 800m PB to be faster than 1:46 given the profile presented to me here. Only a 1:47 in 2022 despite running 3:46 and 3:29 that season. While he improved to 3:27:95 in 2023 his 1:47 in 2022 still very fresh in the memory as a red mark on his raw speed ability. So I say still a 1:47 in 2023 if I need to put a value to it. Then in 2024 he progresses to 3:26:73 and now I'm thinking back to 1:46 but this is no ordinary 1:46 you feeling me sir????
This is 1:46 4 years on from 2020 in 2024!!!!! 1:46 in 2020 is not equal to 1:46 in 2024!!!! Why??? Because the space-time circumstances are all different alright!!!!!!!!! Just as Olympic gold at 21 is different from Olympic gold at 30 for the same person. So Jakob is no faster than 1:46 in 2024 right now.
I forgot about that. He had a bad race. 2022 overall was a weak year for him. Why are you morans so convinced he would race it “if he could run faster than 1:45”? Makes no sense, 1:44 high isn’t significant any more. He definitely can’t run 1:43 but he can sneak under 1:45.
Nah, Jakob doesn't sneak under 1:45. He might be close a 3:34 race in 51.5 showboating and fist pumping the whole final 400m, heck he could even be singing and dancing, but Jakob is an athlete that needs 2-3 laps to warm up his muscles before kicking in 51.5. He can't do the 800m where there is no time to warm up his muscles without being dropped so far behind the pack. In the 800m he needs to start way too fast in order to run under 1:45, around 51-52 and his body doesn't like it. He prefers to have ran a few laps at 56 or 57 first, before ratcheting up the pace in the 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th lap in 51-52 you feeling me sir????
He can run a 10000m in 28 flat with the last lap in 51.5 alright. But he can't run back to back 51.5 for an 800m. Jakob is an endurance guy.
We may as well accept that the sport is lost to doping. WADA is merely cosmetic, to disguise it. They are beaten.
Ok darling, I heard you loud and clear!!!!!! I value both you, and your words unlike rekrunner who ask me to question your trustworthiness!!!
What I said was that you put misplaced faith in people rather than putting your faith in data. The only way to link your ideas to objective reality is with objective data. This is something both you and your darling lack.
I feel sorry for you troll. You must have had a very bad day!
By the way: How do you think Kerr could have placed?
Look sir, are you sure you sized up my darling Trollminator correctly huh????? Personally, I think Jakob did very well at Silesia with potential to go slightly faster, maybe another second or 2 max but it has to be done RIGHT NOW, THIS YEAR, BY SEPTEMBER BEFORE THE SEASON ENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No time to lose, it's now or never, do or die. There is no next year, no 2025, tomorrow waits for no man in the arena of high performance distance sport. High performance sport is extremely fickle minded due to the assault on human high performance biology by anthropogenic RF. Jakob is only VERY LUCKY to have been able to have this 2024 season after a stellar 2023 season with an Achilles Injury sandwiched in between but such luck is really the exception and not the norm. So therefore everybody can assume 2025 would not be so lucky because being mediocre, listless and half-baked is the norm for high performance athletes these days due to the abovementioned assault!!!!!
That's why we need to hold another 3000m and 5000m race weeks apart in September ASAP and let Jakob get both records this year. His season just started anyway because he started it late due to injury. Heck, Seb Coe should make him a race in November for him to get the 10k WR too as he really needs to get them all by the end of the year as next year 2025 is too long to wait especially as he will need to shut down and restart the season in the winter. The need to shut down and then restart again is a very adverse and undesirable event to go to the 2025 season and that's what I don't like about.
Jakob runs 25:30 for 10k in October with not much specific 10k training. The work's done and he is a threshold guy so he can run a WR 10K anytime. Cheptegei's 26:11 is extremely weak and slow based on Jakob's protracted 12:23 5k time (by me)!!!!!!!
Look Mr PD, you should unsubscribe from my channel as I don't welcome lies and deceit alright??? I didn't misplace my faith in people rather than data, I place equally portions of faith in both okay????????
The only way to link your ideas to objective reality is with objective data, and the only way to also link your ideas to subjective reality is with subjective data. It's both Mr PD!!!!
The thing is. Antidoping was non existant back in the days. the work on that level now is so good that its so much difficult to do it. Also, back then, so many did use EPO and therefor it was "okay". If Jakob was to test positive now. It would ruined his life!
I think there is not much doping out there. Why? Because nowdays everyone hates doping. 20-30 years ago it was just "another one".
And nothing suggest he has been doing it because he was a sensation from the bigginning. He was the best from the start. So there is no reason for him. And also. He competes by far the most off them. He would not have done that if he was not clean.
Our downvotes are slightly different from yours Mr PD!!!! Our downvotes are due to us being expressly ADs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People have an agenda for folks who preach about AD and that's because sin is in them. They wanna try to find a way to cheat, hide and gain unfair earnings and winnings.
Your downvotes are due to you being expressly being much too affected in your methods and explanations on doping. It becomes all too fake and unreal you feeling me?????? That's why you get downvoted because people think you don't wear your heart on your sleeve. You are in reality a PD disguising as an AD!!!!!!!!! But you don't need to do that, people want to see you in your raw form and want you to be brave enough to show it for what you are, a PD!!!!!!!!!!
Correct right here, Jakob has been around for a long time and been pretty consistent, and so is my darling Josh KERR as well!!!! And people keep forgetting that Jakob is still using Daddy Gjert's training blueprint to do what he does today. So if Daddy Gjert had never used drugs before or taught them so, then that is not gonna change today. Gjert's clean reputation is a strong corroborative evidence for Jakob being clean you feeling me folks????
That's how I conduct expert reason and persuasion like Sherlock Holmes the famous detective, using only overwhelming subjective evidence and careful deductive consideration!!!
Jakob, Josh, El G, Morceli these are confirmed clean athletes a 100% with subjective evidence!!!
Not that Ingebrigtsen needed them but they shouldn't have pacing lights. If you have them then why not motorbikes, a car, etc.
The wavelights helped of course, it's very visually stimulating like back in the old days in Africa where Kalenjin herdsmen moved into heightened fight-and-flight upon sight of an African lion, you feeling me?????
The wavelights does similar stimulatory effect of heightened fight-and-flight on Jakob and all the runners. You obviously run faster and forget you are tired with a lion on your back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The motivation is great. By that logic, if I converted the wavelight to an actual African lion running behind Jakob and chasing him down trying to swallow him up, Jakob runs 7:00 flat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about that folks????

Yeah. Snell sucked too because he was never competitive in the Marathon. You obsessive idiot, ruin every thread with your inane, repetitive posts.
You didn't know that Snell was a miler, like Jakob? But was way faster over 800. And also trained like a marathon runner.
Ingebrigtsen has put two 1500's together faster than the one that Coe did in Moscow - or Walker in Montreal, and nearly as fast as Vasala and Keino in Munich. Yet he is slower by far than all of them over 800. Nothing to see here, folks.
In the 70's Jim Ryun suggested that the most dramatic improvement in middle distances like the mile would require world class 400 speed. He didn't anticipate the effect of doping. We see runners today who are pedestrian over the 400 and 800 excelling over the 1500 and 3k.

Day to day buffoon status
Congratulations
The main point is that they weren't doping like today's athletes. That's why the times are so different today. That is why Ryun couldn't imagine an athlete significantly slower than him over 800 would be way way faster over his best distance - and longer. He couldn't imagine what doping would do to the sport.
Is it? New super shoes, better track, better training, healthier lifestyle. Tech. pacers, light pace.
You really dont think this things combine can match up with the use off EPO? I dont understand people. How th*** can you be?
Nah you forgot one thing that even my darling Armstrong will tell you as he has learnt from me!!!! I imbued knowledge in him and today he knows EPO is still needed for some of the dirty athletes worldwide because the assault on human biology by anthropogenic RF negates and neutralizes a percentage of the benefits of supershoes, better tracks, better training, wavelights, pacers, other tech and lifestyle. You understand what I'm talking about sir???? You are lacking one key ingredient in your knowledge because you failed to pay attention to my lectures and classes about anthropogenic RF on LRC. Please subscribe immediately!!!
Actually there is not better lifestyle and health in 2024 compared to 1994. Health and lifestyle is always more peaceful, tranquil and revitalizing further back in history than into the future because health is an oxymoron in space-time due to assault by anthropogenic RF, you feeling me sir?????
OXYMORON, that's the word I hope I chose correctly!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep repeating that to see if you can take the edge off your misery. 7:17.55, read and weep.
Ingebrigtsen is no faster than a good school boy over the 800. That makes him comparably the slowest 1500/3k champion/record-holder in the history of the sport. Let's hear it for modern pharmaceuticals!
