Murphy had a terribly untidy race. I wouldn’t count him out. And Koech looked really good too. I’d say Hoppel is definitely a lock though. Not sure why you’d favor Kessler over Miller. Miller did more work and is more experienced of course. I like both of their chances.
fair point. Hobbs just looked really relaxed on the home straight and looked ready to easily outkick Miller. But yeah, Kessler and Miller look great for a fast-ish final (sub 1:44)
Did you guys know that Gabby Thomas graduated from Harvard? Little-known fact to share! /s

That's Gabby "Whereabouts" Thomas to you. A role model for all girls.
This women’s 200 team is gonna be INSANE.

Tooth Ugg Eels!!
Gabby Thomas can 21.78 me any day
21.78 is tied for the 40th fastest ever mark, and her third fastest ever, behind 21.60 in Eugene last year and 21.61 in Eugene in 2021.
Thomas 21.78 - and did she shut it down ever so slightly in the last 5-7m?
Abby Steiner back in form with a 22.03... someone's gonna run 21.9 and not make the 200m team. The USA women's depth at 100/200 is just absurd
The womens 4x100 relay will be LIT.
Is Lyles wearing chinos or khakis?
she let up before the line and seemed surprised shots fired
4 women at 22.03 or faster. Gonna be a brutal final.

Not sure I would say she shut down much but she didn't look like she was pushing hard at any stage.

The craziest thing was I thought he was done 100-150 in, seemed like he was 10-15 meters back almost instantly. What a f*ckin talent.
If he goes 1:42 in the final, I have to think his medal chances go way up in Paris at the 1500 or 800. He’s ran 5 races so far, that’s impressive.
He said he probably wouldn't double, but with the 800 being somewhat weak globally, it could be a better event for him this year. He could be like Murphy in 2016.

Holt has been DQd :(
Did he step inside or something? I would think if he fouled someone, somebody else would have been reinstated to the final
Knighton all the way out in 8 is good for his frame. Wonder if he drops a message here?
Sensation indeed
