Lyles and Coleman in the same 200 semi should be good

Also interested to see how Kessler will do in the 800

It's definitely a true track fan night, but the semis should be really interesting, especially for the 800

I'm also hoping the weather cooperates for the hurdles. Two sub 13s in a row for Holloway is giving me hope he could be entering that Aries Merritt flow state

Another event where literally everyone is advancing out of the first round. 27 women running for 27 spots in the 100 hurdles.

Do you think Holloway will win by over or under a fifth of a second

With all the scratches in the sprint events they need copy award shows and get some seat fillers. Throw in some Oregon runners to fill out the lanes.

That was ridiculous.

The prelims is more ridiculous.

USATF too cheap to invite more runners per event to the trials and this is the result. Honestly this is only slightly less ridiculous than the other events with prelims where 90% of the runners make it through.

And it's still faster than some of the kids at my local high school.

Thank you Nia Ali. I was wondering why athletes weren’t jogging in yesterday’s 200s. Perhaps USATF will take note and allow larger fields in coming years to make the 1st round mean something. But they probably won’t.

I get the sense all these female athletes are pretty sick of being asked about their kids when they're at the meet for being something other than a mom.

Gotta say, I'm surprised it's taken until now for an athlete to jog their prelim knowing that everyone advances. You'd think one of the 200m sprinters yesterday would've done it.
