Nick, Lauren and Addy are all grads of North Huntington High and Huntington College, where all were running stars.
All 3 are born again evangelical Christians, which fit with the culture of HU.
Nick and Lauren were like a second family for Addy, supporting her running and academic growth in high school.
Nick was quite a jerk.
To be Christian and family is, however, to practice forgiveness. There can actually be real human strength in forgiveness.
Whatever happens between Lauren, Nick and Addy is their private business. If they can forgive and make it work, that's their choice.
It appears the legal side of this will continue to slowly disappear. Addy and Lauren are not charged with anything. USATF and adidas have no problem with Addy and Lauren, so she will compete for a spot on US Olympic team.

They should have said, we can't offer you a contract unless you agree to new coaching. Any decent responsible person would not want to engage or enable that, especially when coming from the outside.

That post is fine. But claiming that Wiley is doping is different.
Few have claimed outright that she's doping. It's more the fact that she closely associates herself with shady coaches, which increases the chances that she herself would dope -- especially given the unorthodox relationship between she and her coaches.
She runs for incredibly shady coaches who have been directly implicated in doping and outright criminal behavior (Nick even ran his own Salazar inspired injection program at HU and a prescription to epo), and then in the shadiest possible circumstances she suddenly runs historically fast times that can most obviously be explained by doping. IMHO she is the most painfully obvious doping US distance runner since Houlihan or probably her own mentor Lauren. It is all catch me if you can. And it paid off because if you don't test positive you will get a pro deal. Think of it. Every top US pro sprinter is doping, but they get pro deals anyway, and if caught they are just quietly discarded and the next hopeful signed.

Plus he pretended through email that he was a college coach at the University of Oregon and tricked Wiley's mom into letting Wiley go on a fake college visit to Oregon. (Wiley knew the trip was fake, but her mom didn't.)

That is correct. That is what some of us have been telling you. Wiley now has a sponsor who is indirectly being harmed and they have money to back her.
