Lol who is Graham Blanks????
Finished 6th at NCAA XC last fall and 2nd in the 5K outdoors. 13:18 PR
Stan MF ford, 20th place...
He's Eritrean, not Ethiopian
My bad. Very bad. Kind of like calling a Scot an Englishman...
Rocky Hanson will win an NCAA XC title before one day. monster performance.
think I'll celebrate this dominant day for NAU with a nice sunrise hike in Sedona tomorrow morning
:smug:
Did anyone else notice that Bosley didn’t seem to look as smooth as others on those muddy downhills?
Stride Report predictions:
Northern Arizona Lumberjacks
North Carolina Tar Heels
Wisconsin Badgers
BYU Cougars
Stanford Cardinal
Villanova Wildcats
Syracuse Orange
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Air Force Falcons
California Baptist Lancers
Holy sh*t, Blanks crushes the whole field down the stretch. I knew he was underrated and figured he'd probably contend, but this is ridiculous.
NAU is so good it's nuts. For the women it's gonna be a battle with NC St, but for the men the rest of the country should probably just concede it right now.
Alex Phillip, the UNC grad transfer from a D3 school, has been impressive. Why hasn’t he been at a D1 school all along or is he a late bloomer?
Stanford finishes 20th? geez, Ky Robinson can't wait for outdoor season.
NAU sits a couple top guys, and still their #7 is 20 spots ahead of anybody else's #5.
I think you can pretty much book this one right now.
typical Brodey Hasty finish. kinda hangs out in the middle of the race then suddenly turns it on and zooms past 24 runners in the last 1000m. and he was NAU's last place finisher.
HUGE race by Rocky Hansen. What are the chances of him being top 5 or 10 come nationals? Huge run by NAU as well. They put their top 7 in before everyone else’s top 4. Huge run by Blanks to close over the last 1K or so to take the win. Nationals is gonna be a close race unless someone takes the pace out fast. Another poor showing for Stanford unfortunately.
Where were Colin and Aaron Sahlman?
Wow Stanford sucks. Hicks must be glad he graduated last year. I thought with all their new guys + Hicks they'd be heavy favorites. Even if they had a repeat win from Hicks they'd still be out of the top 10. Ridiculous.
Davin won’t be racing XC this season. Out with injury.
What a run by NAU.....it looks like it's going to be harder to make their top 7 than be an All-American this year. Wow.

Yep, crazy to think that he finished higher than the 4th of every other team and the 2nd of 20 of 36 teams.
