Exactly. It’s great that everyone has their chance. However…. It’s NOT good on a televised program to sit through a bunch of heats of 200 meters as we yawn.
Holy smokes. I have said forever that she had more natural 1500 speed than people were assuming. But you never want to predict a time. Too many variables.
You apparently cannot be bothered to check with the reality of actual races but I'll repeat that professionals like Koko, Purrier or Norris at Millrose did not close in 16 for the last 109m while running ~4:19-21.
There is no way in hell Tuohy runs 4:10 en route to 4:26. *IF* she should be able to run 4:26 she must run as evenly as possible and go through 1500 ca. 4:06-07.
Tuohy isn’t Koko. Tuohy isn’t Perrier. Nor is Tuohy Norris. Tuohy has been closing many track races in 32 seconds for the final 200 meters. That was last year.
There is no reason to think that she can’t close a final 109 meters in 16 seconds now.
I’m looking forward to watching the race in just a few minutes from now.
