Unfortunately, Parvaneh is NOT a good person. I just spent 3 weeks with Parvaneh during the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon trek. Parvaneh has to be the most narcissistic and unethical individual I have ever met. Also--here's another shocker--she cheated during the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon! She paid a race official to help get her over the finish line. Parvaneh was rude to the tour staff and everyone in her group. She demanded to be the center of attention at all times. She cut lines and shoved people out of her way to get the best seat in the house and be the front and center of pictures. She treated staff members like they were at her beckoned call. Parvaneh demanded individual attention at all times, often compromising the safety of other team members. She commanded to be served first at dinner, refused to carry her own bag, and sent back her trekking meals because they were not good enough for her. Her incessant complaining was a strain on everyone. She refused to trek with her tour group and trek leader. Of course, when it was all said and done, she refused to pay the staff members the mere $100 suggested tip (to be split between all staff members--15+ people for 3 weeks of service). When it comes to running, Parvanah is clearly overweight and out of shape. She was by far one of the slowest people in the group. She could not keep pace even when walking. Each day, she wore her Badwater attire and bragged about herself although it was known to most of the group members that she is a proven cheater.
