I found this website searching for Darren Kavinoky. I am trying to get the word out everywhere I can. This guy is a total POS! He screwed my dad over big time. Don't trust him with anything he is a total liar and scammer. I don't care about him running but don't ever trust him with a case. He and the rest of his company are crooks!

It started when a friend of mine who is a publicist was doing some work with a company that was launching a campaign using the phrase “the new face of 50.†So I came up with this wild idea that had always been on my bucket list, that I could be that new face of 50 and run across all 50 states! Annnd then they agreed. And then I really had to do it. Sooo, yeah, that’s how that happened. No one’s ever accused me of being overly smart!
But, just like life goes, this has been a true adventure. And in the words of Helen Keller, “Life is either a magnificent adventure, or else it’s nothing.†This has been a magnificent adventure. So we started, and our plan was running 50 miles a day, and then [points to self] the old guy gets a little injured. There was the beginning of a stress fracture, the beginning of a tendon unraveling in my shin, and the doctor said, “No running for you!â€
Then I had to do something that was tough. I had to be willing to give up what I thought it was going to look like. I went through all of the stages of grief when I realized that I wasn’t going to be able to run. So we had to come up with a plan B. There were only two choices at that point: It was either fold up and go home, or find another way to stay true to the mission, even if it meant it wasn’t going to look the way I thought.
So we tried a roller blade experiment: That lasted for two hours and ended in a bloody mess. By the way, the problem with inline skating isn’t the skating, it’s the stopping! So now, here we are, after getting our butts on bicycles and seeing this amazing country of ours. So I’ve been running and riding my bicycle from Santa Monica to NYC, and every episode of Deadly Sins that I filmed was during my Journey Across America.
Getting to meet ID Addicts has been the highlight of this trip! We all may speak with different accents, and come from different parts of the country, but we all have one thing in common: We love Investigation Discovery, and we love those stories, and all of you people have been so gracious and awesome. The only thing bad about the Journey Across America is that it’s coming to an end! What are we going to do for an encore?

Wow, after reading that link there's no doubt he's pure trash. The imaginary friend was a real person and it's abhorrent that he would use her death to promote his bullshit story. This has always been all about him and his true colors are coming out.
I feel bad for Darren Kavinoky's daughter because she is probably reading all this negativity about her dad. Maybe everyone should lay off of the guy and leave him be because of his family. It isn't their fault that the guy is a douche bag. In a way I compare Darren's daughter to Ivanka Trump. Both Ivanka and Darren's daughter are probably sitting home every night saying, "Dad, quit embarrassing me. Stop it already!" Both can't wait for it to end, the ride for Kavinoky, the presidency for Trump. Actually, we all feel that way.

Read the article. I still don't really know what the Deadly Sins show is about (hadn't heard of it before this thread). And what's "ID" that they keep referencing?
Deadly Sins is the crime show on Discovery Channel that Kavinoky created and hosts. He dramatizes crimes to show why they are all caused by one of the 7 deadly sins.
ID stands for Investigation Discovery. It's Discovery channel's crime based shows channel. Remember when Discovery Channel actually had quality content that was educational instead of fat dudes modding motorcycles?

When we last saw Darren's progress on Thur 7-6, he "lost contact" at the intersection of S.Phila Blvd and W. Bel Air Ave in Aberdeen. For the last few days he would not end his day at a hotel. Instead he would end his day at some random location, probably in an effort to dodge someone who might want to find him and ride with him.
When he "lost contact" the duration was 129:15:52 and the mileage was 1526.0
Today, Fri 7-7, he quit near a Wells Fargo Bank at the intersection of W. Cypress St. and Scarlett Rd in the town of Kennett Square. The duration was 133:15:08 and the mileage was 1569.0. That means he traveled 43.0 miles in 3:59:16, or 10.8 mph. As always, those stats are pretty meaningless with the inconsistancies in their travels.
Because there was no movement on the clock
or mileage for hours and hours, one would think that Darren was done for the day. Nope! I looked tonight and see that he is now on the other side of Philadelphia! The duration clock now reads 138:23:37, so it advanced another 5:08:29. However, the mileage reading still remains at 1569.0. The tracking map shows a straight beeline over the entire city of Philadelphia, and the ended up at the Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast. At least tonight we know where he is staying.
The beeline that the map shows is 44.4 miles long, but they no doubt traveled farther than that, yet the mileage amazingly remained the same. Darren, Darren, Darren. What are you doing? Your integrity is zero. What's my win? Knowing that your sponsors are going to pull everything away, and that your hopes of being a motivational speaker are dashed.

I wonder what the total cost of this scam will be? Gas - hotels, etc. Must cost a fortune. Whoever is paying do they not grasp what is going on?

Darren's GPS tracking continues to have a "lost contact" status. His last known position was in the town of Fallsington turning from Woolston Drive onto W. Trenton Avenue. Let's see when and where he magically appears later today.
